This is my fourth grow but my first time with autos. The small F2 is really skunky but the tall one is a bit hard to tell, smells like more of a citrusy skunk. Almost made me think they got mixed up with Sour D as I expected them to be a pungent, citrusy pine!
They are each planted in 1 gallon smart pots and were directly planted into 5 gallons after roughly 27 days. I noticed my plants are small compared to others and was wondering if this had anything to do with it. Roots pierced their 1g pots around 30-40 days and are still going.
You made the mistake of transplanting during the flower stage of the plant. You never ever do that, but its a lesson learned. Before would of been fine but by around day 30 for autos plants start to flower. You could of had a bigger plant if you planted your seed straight into its final pot size that you have now. That would of given you a better chance. Autos are quick as you might of now realised. Still have nice looking plants, just start them off in bigger (final pots) on your next run. Hope this helps
This is where I really messed up with the ladies, I guess I was too stoned or something 😝 Just plant them in their final pots right away or transplant before flower phase.
The roots pierced the 1g pots! Very exciting as it's my first time doing this method of smart pot transplanting. Too bad I made the mistake of doing it with auto flowers though, they don't veg long enough!
Once again these little babies are only 1gallon size. Accidentally did my transplant late and I should have planted them in their final containers right off the start. They're getting fat though! Big Bud Coco is doing it's job!
The pistils are starting to mature to orange 😊 Weather is warming up so the tent is getting a bit hot. Can't do a whole lot since there's a freakin 600w in my 2x4! Lowered the nutes to pretty much nothing at this point since harvest is right around the corner somewhere in week 10. Stopped the nute feeding completely on 9w 6d to start flushing the rest out.
This one isn't a pure sativa as it has relaxing qualities mixed in, I'd give it a 60/40 ratio. Smells super skunky when I open the jar but really sweet when I stick my nose in! Has a sweet berry diesel taste, loving it so far. Wish I let it properly fill the 5 gallon so it would have been bigger!
You can do your own research and check to see if pot sizes and transplanting affects final outcome (height) and growth of plant. I gurantee you’ll get the same answer.
