Out of the 6 Ginger Punch Autos, 4 are looking like healthy seedlings, 1 has some helmet head and is a little behind compared to the others, and 1 of them died :( The Kritic Auto hasn't sprouted yet. Not sure what to do with this one. Next week I'll have another LED to have some more light as they go into the vegetative stage. But I would love some high quality lights, but unfortunately I'm on a budget at the moment. Stay tuned!

2 plants died this week. One from overexposure to sun and I believe the other one was due to overwatering during its first few days. Ginger Punch Auto A is looking super healthy. I believe it is because she was that was directly in front of the fan. Ginger Punch Auto B is also looking healthy but not as much as A. Ginger Punch Auto C has developed a sort of deformation of the first leaves. I am curious how this lady comes out. Any suggestions please feel free to let us know! Day 15: Ginger Punch Auto D wasn't making any progress so we decided to toss her 😟. Only 3 plants remaining. Day 18: the weather is going to be great all day today so we decided to take them outside. To make sure that they are getting at least 18 hours of light we will move them back into the tent at night.

Next time should I use the solo cup method instead of a jiffy?

You can put auto seeds right into the soil, otherwise I would choose the solo cup. Water a day before planting and you don't have to water the first week.

This week the plants reacted very well to being moved outside. They are loving the natural sunlight. We planted a couple of dill weed close to them to attract some beneficial insects.

This week the plants grew a lot. All three have already started to grow small pistils so I believe flowering will start happening very soon (if not already). Ginger Punch A seems very healthy but we have found a few small black flies on it. We went to look for lady bugs and found 1 and also a green lacewing! So hopefully they help out a bit. Ginger Punch B & C are smaller but looking very very healthy and actually smell a lot more than Ginger Punch A. Stay tuned for updates next Friday. (Updates come every Friday)

We still are having issues with pests. We applied Neem Oil once and will apply again in 10 days. We are keeping a very close eye on them and removing any pests or larvae with a tweezer. A green lacewing came by last night and checked on it. I hope that with the dill plants close that more beneficial insects come and do some work with the pests. Ginger Punch A is still huge but not flowering as much as the other 2. Ginger Punch B is struggling the most of all of them. We had to remove a few leaves that had larvae of some type of black fly. Ginger Punch C is looking very healthy and the bud sites have a lot of crystals.

We have issues with pests but i'm not sure what they are. They are like little black flies. With very small round bodies, and their wings are transparent and a bit bigger than their bodies. They are leaving their little white eggs or larvae under the leaves. Any suggestions???

If the plant is small you can wipe the eggs and insects off the bottom of the leaves with a damp rag. You can also use a the spray from a garden hose to knock them off. Then you can use an insecticidal soap like neem oil making sure to coat the bottom side of the leaves. As the plant gets older I would be more and more hesitant to what you apply since it may remain on the flower.

Ginger Punch A: there is something going on with this plant. Compared to the others she has no trichomes or crystals appearing. Other than that she looks great. Any suggestions? Ginger Punch B: this one is turning out to be the best of the batch. Huge top bud and so many crystals everywhere. Ginger Punch C: still the smallest of the batch but buds looking good and plenty of crystals.

So with the Ginger Punch A there seems to be an issue since she isn't producing any crystals compared to the others(which have a lot) and she is way more advanced when it comes to growth. Any suggestions?

Usual erratic auto flower genetics. Not much can be done, just continue with your current care and it will be what it will be. All seeds have unique individual genetics and no two seeds will grow and flower identically. Hope this helps, Organoman. (and not a fan of auto flowers!)

Ginger Punch A: this is the one that has not developed any crystals at all but this week she is showing some signs of crystals. She will be left in flowering for a bit longer to see if she continues to develop most crystals. Ginger Punch B: The healthiest of the batch. The top bud is massive and smells so strong. Ginger Punch C: Much smaller top bud than Ginger Punch B but still has lots of crystals and strong smell. *all the plants seem to have recovered completely from the pest issue*

How much longer do you think Ginger Punch A will take to reach harvest compared to the other 2 since she was very slow to develop crystals?

Probably about two or three weeks, maybe a bit more. Clear close up pics next time will help answer these sorts of questions better. Harvest at about 90-95% brown pistils for peak THC and a mind bending head high. Harvest at about 95-100% brown pistils for a heavier and sleepier CBD body stone. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hi there,Your plant is still bulking up.The leaves are still green and the pistils are still white.(BTW don't spray or touch those white pistil if not necessary.I see some damages on pistils by spraying or touching). When the harvest time is coming, the leaves will be turning into yellow or discolouration and the most of the white pistil will become orange.Best method is by using 60X microscope and check trichome(crystal)colour.Normally flowering period took around 8~10weeks depend on strain.Low on trichomes(crystal) amount could be due to her genetic or phenotype.Happy growing... ✌️

Hey, I see a lot of white pistils and very little trichomes..and according to your diarie she's been in flowering only for a few week's. So I'd personally say she has around minimum 4-5 week's to go...but that's just my opinion 🤠👉
