Day 1: Preparing for the grow :) Day 2: Planted a lot of seeds today for companion plants. They will form a sort of hedge around my autoflowers :) Some in full soil like sunflower, lavender and chamomile. Others in pots because they can get a bit invasive: chervil, peppermint, coriander, yarrow, dill, lemon balm and basil. These will all help with the organic grow. To attract good insects and repel bad ones. They will also mask the cannabis smell so the neighbours have nothing to complain. Really looking forward to seeing it all sproud, grow and bloom. Day 4: Woke up to 5 seeds that are showing their tiny roots :) 100% germination rate is nice.

18th of may: The first week of vegetation has started. The weather is a bit too cold but they're still doing pretty well :) 21st of may: Despite the weather, the plants are doing great! They have a beautiful dark green color (although it's hard to tell on the pictures). The companion plants are popping up as well, which gives it a very cool look. Hoping for some good weather soon. 24st of may: gave them their first feeding. A quarter dose of BioBizz Fish-Mix. The Sweet CBD Auto's are doing better than the Critical CBD Auto's. They're probably better resistant to the cold. The weather has been quite bad. Hardly any sun and aprox 13 C. / 55 F. during the day dropping to 8 C. / 64 F. at night. The weather is supposed to get better come Thursday the 27th. Hopefully that will give my girls a much needed growboost. I'm surprised they still look so healthy despite the bad weather!

26/5 They’re really small, the weather has stunted their progress. Luckily not much longer until the weather gets better. Curious how they will recover.

Accidently added week 3 too early. I'll wait a little longer to add the 4th week to even it out. The plants are doing somewhat good but not great. The yellow one is restoring to a fuller green. It seems they all have a little heat stress though and they're not growing as fast as I'd like. If I compare it to my window grow, where my Fast Eddy CBD is just as old as the plants of my outdoor grow. Then Fast Eddy is a lot further. I think they're a bit stunted by the cold in the first week and a half and now it's quite hot for them. Will have to be patient to see how they recover. 8/6 Great growth :D especially on the companion plants. Too bad my plants seem to have some bug problems. I think it's leafhoppers. Especially the 2 x critical CBD are affected, but the sweet CBD that was more lightgreen also seems to be affected.

One of my Sweet CBD plants is very light compared to the others. Growth is the same as the others, no hanging leafs, no burned spots. What could this be? Is she still healthy?

Hi there, I would not stress about it too much for now. Have a look at the plant in about 3 weeks to see if she still vastly looks different to the others. All looking super healthy. Good luck!

14/6 Forgot to add week 4. But it's the end of week 4 already. The girls are doing fine. Some bug problems though but nothing too crazy. Got some ladybug larve which I've placed in the pots to help out. About 6 per plant.

22/6 new week. Flowering is slowly starting. Upped the fish-mix and added bio-bloom + top-max. Trimmed companion plants since the lower nodes were overshadowed. 28/6 Some of the companion plants, the tailwort/borage were infected with black aphids. Ants around them as well, probably to protect them and eat their sweet juices. besides that they were growing too fast and casting shadows over the lower nodes of my CBD plants. I took all of them out. Threw away all the infected ones and replanted the healthy ones closeby. They were close to flowering and when they flower they're supposed to attract beneficial bugs. I hope I didn't kill the plants by pulling them out. Luckily my CBD plants seem to be unaffected by the aphids. I did use ladybug larva's a couple of weeks back but I'm having a hard time finding them. Placed around 50 but can only find 2 larve now.

29/6 The weather hasn’t been great last week. They could use some more sun. 4/7 some problems. I think a cat is eating some cannabis leaves. Some discoleration on the lower fanleaves. Some bug issues. Stretch and bud formation is looking good though

Calcium deficiency...little tougher diagnosing outdoor plants...I'm an indoor guy...indoors hydro, thats CLASSIC calcium def..... NOW, ph being out of wack can cause nutrient getting locked out...THERE COULD BE PLENTY of calcium and the pH is way off...need to always rule out pH issues BEFORE considering nutrient def...YT

19/7 the plants are doing great. Beautiful colors. Having a problem with snails though. Already got copper wire around the pots and even used salt so no idea how they’re coming through. Luckily they don’t eat the buds and just the fanleaves. 23/7 some defoliation and I’ve set snail traps. Adjusted the nutes a bit. Critical CBDs are getting close. Today was probably their last feeding since most pistils are brown, but I’ll have to check the trichomes with a loop. The Sweet CBDs need another 2, maybe 3 weeks.

27/7 Started flushing since the plants will be ready in about 1 to 2 weeks. Somehow the Sweet CBD's, who were behind on the criticals, are starting to increase their bud formation :) Nice! They need about 2 more weeks while the criticals will be done sooner. 28/7 Not good news :( There was some budrot in both Critical CBD plants. I cut off the infected parts and harvested the rest of the plants. Washed the buds just now and placed to dry. The plants weren’t fully ready but I really didn’t want to take any chances. Especially with the wet summer we’re having. Don’t think it will be a good yield. Luckily my Sweet CBD plants aren’t infected!

2/8 the plants sure take longer to finish than they were advertised as, but I’m not that bothered with it since I got new seedlings growing at home already. The smell these plants are giving is absolutely insane! It used to be like a fuel/diesel citrussy smell but as they are ripening there’s this sick tropical scent along with it. Smells so delicious! I just keep on going back to smelling these, lol :D Really curious how they will vape once harvested and cured! 3/8 definitely started too early with the flush. The plants should take 10 weeks from seed from harvest. These are in week 12 but need at least one more week. Probably 2! Mostly milky trichomes on one but the other two still have about 20 to 30 % clear. Hardly any amber to find. To feed or not to feed? Hmm.. 5/8 harvested one. The other almost done. The 3rd needs longer and got another feeding.

I started the flush too early. Can I give them another feed before going back to flushing, or is it fine to continue with the flush now? Flush started 1,5 week ago. Trichomes between 70 and 90 % milky. And 10 to 30 % clear. Hardly any amber.

Hello fellow grower, I have ran into the same issues in my early days. When this happened to me I chose to keep flushing and I ended up with very slow growth at the end. Looking back if I would to do it again I would have fed her once or maybe even two more times and then did the flushing process to get the 10% amber trichomes. Hope this was a helpful opinion! ✌️

5/8 made oil today. Will test it tonight! Added the Critical CBD harvest of my window grow as well and half of my Fast Eddy window grow. Aprox 30 grams of flower on 500 ml of olive oil.

11/8 didn’t visit the garden for 3 days. Came and found one of the plants severely infested with black aphids (?). Took away the most effected leaves. Cleaned between the buds with a watering hose and rinsed as much as possible. Wet buds now though. Hope there will be no budrot coming from it.

Bud rot and aphids were a nuisance in the end. Smell is great when it’s alive but lacking when plant is dried. Gonna make oil out of it.

@Nenay, I love that saying…that is my mindset with every grow…I just like the permaculture concept and try to incorporate nature in all my grows…like you said the benefits speak for themselves. Enjoy the experience friend

@@@Trumptight420, I want to grow organic. In dutch there's a saying which I'll translate: "To prevent is better than to cure". So the companion plants seemed like a good way to keep annoying bugs and pests at bay. I want to do the best I can to have the healthiest plants I can and get the best yield I can in terms of quality. And I haven't seen much result.. yet. I haven't grown in about 8 years so. It's really all new to me :)
