5/10/21: Day 1 Everything is going well so far. The rockwool still has sufficient water. Checking every 6 hr. I am slightly concerned about the light being too powerful. It does not have a power controller. If I do begin to see that it is too powerful, it will be replaced. 5/13/21 Began nutrients at 2.5 ml/gal for all 3

Everything is going well! I changed the grow set up a little bit. Just more open and more room height wise. Nutrients were changed 5/20/21.

She's picking up the pace and roots are looking nice! Very low maintenance. Other than increasing nutrient concentration, the grow has been entirely hands off. That's how we like it 😎

Very satisfied with the plant's performance. Lights have been turned up. Humidity levels are up but I am not sure why. First noticed on June 4. Does not seem to be effecting the plant.

6/9 Everything is still going well. New tent, ventilation, and bucket will all be coming soon. Hopefully the plant will like the new set up. School has been picking up so I have not been able to update much. Next week I will be finished and will be able to document the grow better.

Over the weekend, I treated myself to an AC Infinity 36' x 20" tent as well as a 4" inline fan and carbon filter. Overall, I am very pleased with them. I also went ahead and transplanted her into a 3.5 gallon bucket before the roots became too developed to move. I have been looking at other grows throughout this process and I feel my grow is going slower than others. I am not sure why this is the case. I recognize this is my first grow so I am not expecting the best performance, but I would still like for her to perform well. I have noticed an increase in growth recently, but I still feel weeks behind. Let's see what happens. First time doing LST. I hope I did not stress her too much. I realize I am doing it slightly later than ideal. I just wanted to make sure the main branch would not have a large bend angle. She recovered very quickly from the LST so I continued to tie down a couple more branches. I'm not sure if I am right, but she seems to have grown substantially faster since LST.

6/21: Nutrient solution was topped off. She has been THRIVING after the LST last week. I have not seen her grow this quickly so far. Exciting stuff! 6/23 & 6/24: Did some more minor LST. Due to the summer heat, the temperature and humidity in the tent have been rising. I have not seen any negative reactions from the plant thus far but I will continue to correct it. Thank you @ORGANOMAN for answering my grow question!

Should I defoliate my plant? It is in the middle of veg. I feel it is getting quite bushy but I am not sure exactly what to remove or when to do it. I have never defoliated before. I plan on vegging for at least another three weeks

NO, NO NO, do not do it! Your plant NEEDS every leaf it has to be able to produce the energy she needs to grow her biggest and fastest. Removing healthy green leaves will just reduce your plants capacity to make energy, slowing growth and leading to potentially smaller plants/flowers too. If your plant did not NEED those leaves, it would not have grown them in the first place! Try only removing yellow leaves, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose. Besides, those older leaves will become storage sites for vital growth elements that your plant will draw upon during flowering, as it is more efficient to do so rather than grow flowers AND make those growth elements (carbs, sugars, amino acids etc) from new at the same time as growing flowers. So, not only does defoliation reduce your plants capacity to produce energy, it also robs her of an important source of carefully assembled vital growth elements for use during flowering. My opinion - never remove healthy green leaves!! Hope this helps,........... Organoman. (and strident anti-defoliation advocate!)

6/27: Had a minor power outage. Lasted ~30 min. Hopefully this does not impact the plant. 6/28: Had another minor power outage. ~30 min as well. Plant seems unaffected. 6/29: I saw linemen out there working today so hopefully no more power issues. I refilled the nutrient solution today. It has been lasting ~1 week. Also completed some more minor LST today.

7/5: She is growing like crazy! Will probably veg her for another week or two. We'll see how she's looking on Sunday. I have been noticing the smallest amount of yellowing on a single leaf. As long as it is contained to that one and does not rapidly spread, I am not concerned. 7/8: She is continuing to grow very fast! From the looks of it, I will flip to flower next week. I do not want her to outgrow my tent. She reaches ~50% the height of my tent right now and I want her to still have room to develop nice colas without being burnt by the light. 7/9: After looking at the roots, I decided to refill to nutrient solution again. First time I've had to do it twice in a week. She is getting quite thirsty! 7/10: In preparation of flower, I added a trellis net. Hopefully we get big enough colas to warrant it!😎

7/12: It's the first day of flower. I checked the nutrient solution level and it's looking like it will need to be refilled again in a day or two. She is drinking it up like crazy! 7/13: The plant is looking as healthy as can be. I am very happy about that. I refilled the nutrient solution. As she is becoming quite thirsty, I will monitor each day. I decided to do a 1:1:1 mix of the nutrients this week. We'll see how she reacts. 7/15: She is stretching like crazy. She has grown 2+ inches since switching to flower. Due to a sale I found, I decided to get a spider farmer sf2000 light. That should be coming in shortly and will definitely improve the environment. I also got some more fans to keep everything in check. Also, I got "big bud" and "bud candy" from advanced nutrients. Lets see how those perform. 7/16: New light came in! The temp immediately went up so we'll see how that develops. Probably need more fans. 7/17: I have finally defoliated the plant. I know I was recommended to not defoliate at all back when I asked my grow question. However, due to high humidity and temperature levels, I felt it would be appropriate.

7/19: I haven noticed a few leaf tips turn slightly yellow but I am not currently worried. I will watch closely. I am also seeing pistils start to form! They should be visible in the close ups. 7/20: She is looking healthy! No maintenance required today. 7/21: Topped off nutrient solution today. 7/22: Today is the first day the pistils are visible from afar. 7/23: I have noticed the tops of stems of leaves on the top of the canopy have begun to darken. It seems this is being caused by the light. I will monitor. 7/24: Topped off the nutrient solution again today. She is drinking it up quicker and quicker! Her growth is very impressive and I am looking to do a lighter defoliation in the upcoming days. 7/25: Humidity is becoming more of an issue now. I have a small dehumidifier but I fear it is not powerful enough. I will research other options.

7/26: I noticed great improvement from the first defoliation and since she has been becoming very bushy I lightly defoliated her again. I will most likely only have one more defoliation in a week or two. That one will be even lighter. The nutrient solution is about half full right now. I will need to refill either tomorrow or the next day. 7/27: Topped off nutrient solution today. The plant is developing very nicely in my opinion. 7/28: New dehumidifier came in and has been working great! The temperature has risen as a result but it is still manageable. 7/29: All is well in the garden Humidity is staying around 55-60% and temp around 80-82F. Noticed the first bit of trichomes forming! 7/30: She seems like she is doing great. More and more trichomes are coming in! 7/31: Topped off nutrient solution once again. Other than that, not much is going on in the garden.

8/1: Very little maintenance at this point. She is going strong! 8/2: Topped off nutrient solution. She is getting so big, it's becoming hard to take a picture of all of her lol 8/5: It's been a few days. I refilled the nutrient solution. I am slightly worried about resin production but it is still early days so I am still hopeful. 8/6: I topped off the nutrient solution again today. Hopefully wont need to do that again until Sunday. I did some very light defoliation today. Only removed fan leaves that were directly blocking bud sites. I do not think I will remove any more for the rest of the grow. 8/8: Refilled nutrient solution. She is needing a refill every 2 days or so at this point. I expect it to remain the same throughout the last month.

8/9: She is going strong! All I really need to do now is top of nutrients every now and then. 8/10: Refilled nutrient solution today. This will be my last week of using big bud. 8/11: Resin is being produced faster and faster! It sometimes feels like she isn't growing but then I look at the past weeks. Good thing to keep a grow diary! 8/12: Refilled nutrients again. This time I did not use big bud. Im gunna still leave it in the nutrient % because it was used for the majority of the week.

8/15: Refilled nutrient solution and will no longer be using Big Bud as instructed by AN. 8/16: Noticed the first amber pistils starting to form as well as more trichomes are beginning to form. 8/17: Really nice to see the flowers maturing well. 8/18: Noticing more and more amber pistils. Also she is thickening and frosting up. 8/21: Noticing some buds are starting to lean over a bit much. Will prob need to tie them up.

Pretty much every leaf tip has been burnt. I am assuming it is nutrient burn. I have been lowering the concentration ever since I noticed the tips. If it stops now I think there will be no loss of quality. 8/26: I had to tie up a branch because the weight of the buds made it fall over. I'll take this as a good problem to have lol 8/29: Definitely noticing a lot more resin which is awesome to see!

8/30: Starting the week of strong! There is still quite a few white pistils but hopefully those darken soon. I am slowly lowering the tds of the nutrient solution. Once there are no more white pistils I will switch to no nutrients to let the plant flush for a little. Also I dimmed the lights to ~50%. I normally kept them at ~75% but I think I see some fox tailing. 8/31: I think the timeline for this plant has moved up. After looking under the microscope I see a little more milky and amber than I was expecting. Considering chopping end next week.

Taking longer than expected. I actually messed up the flush pretty hard. I thought I was slowly reducing the amount of nutrients the the plant had to uptake but I failed to realize all of the excess nutrients the plant didn't need was still in the tank. This resulted in the tank being way too oversaturated with nutrients. (like 2500 ppm...yikes). That explains why the plant is nute burned. I was wondering why it was as the nutrient levels I was giving seemed to be acceptable. Nevertheless, I completely replaced the water in the tank twice so now we're at ~100 ppm. Only using RO water and seeing the first signs of color. Now planning on harvesting this weekend. But that depends on how far along the flush is. 9/21: I chopped her down and hung her up in the tent on 9/19. Still having temperature issues. Out of my control at this point. My house AC can't keep up with the summer heat. Still 80 during the day and 70 at night. Humidity is 50-60. Worried about her drying too fast but I'm not sure what I can do. We will see how she turns out.
