Starting germination in paper towel on 8 May and just waiting for her taproot to pop then will move her to a jiffy pellet and humidity dome.
10 May 21 Update - Gave her a peak today and and she got a nice, almost half inch taproot out so went ahead and moved her into the humidity dome and jiffy pellet. Just waiting for her to stick her head out and will start day 1.
11 May 21 Update - She’s up and out of the soil and just waiting for her to fully open up and when she does, I’ll start day 1, week 1.
12 May 21 Update - One more day before I’ll start day 1. Her first set of leaves are just starting so don’t want to start the clock yet.
Day 3 - All looks good with this girl and she’s in her final 3 gallon fabric pot and in the tent now. Just giving her a daily foliar spray and keeping a cover over her to keep the humidity up for a bit.
Day 4 - No issues and nothing to update other that some daily pictures. Just gave her a foliar spray and put her top back over her.
Day 5 - Nothing new today, still continuing the daily foliar spray and keeping a top on her for higher humidity. Thinking of putting my humidifier in the tent to help keep it cool in there but don’t want to put too much humidity because my Orange Sherbet is starting flower.
Day 6 - She was getting just a bit stretchy and leaving to one side so packed a little more soil into the pot so now she’s about where I want her height wise. Gave her another nice foliar spray and put her cover back on.
Day 9 - Into week 2 right now and all looking pretty good and nothing much happening with her. She’s got some decent growth going on and not seeing any major issues. Gave her a daily foliar spray and have her on a little stand right now so the fan can start hitting her a bit and getting her a bit stronger.
Day 10 - Nothing much to speak of today, all seems to be going good and just gave her a nice foliar spray and put her back into the tent.
Day 11 - All still going well and not noticing and issues going on right now. Just continuing with the foliar spray and gave her about 200ML of plain water today as well.
Day 12 - Nothing new to speak of today, she seems ok after giving her about 200 ML’s of water yesterday and still giving her a light foliar spray as well.
Day 13 - Had her out of the tent a little longer than I expected so think she thought it was sleep time cause she started dropping pretty quickly. Gave her a foliar spray and moved her back to the tent and lights and she perked right back up.
Day 17 - Into week 3 now and after I gave her some water the other, she really seemed to take of a bit. So went ahead and started some LST today. We’ll see how she adjusts to it tomorrow and she’ll be ready for some more water as well.
Day 18 - Not much going on and she did recover nicely from the initial training yesterday. Gonna let her go for a bit longer before tying her down again. Gave her about 300 ML’s of water pH’d to 6.7.
Day 19 - Went ahead and tied her back down again in a new direction to try and keep the lower stuff out into the light. I also removed two big fan leaves that were in the way.
Day 20 - Went ahead and removed the top two bigger fan leaves today and gave her about 200ML’s of water today but will probably increase the intake in a couple of days.
Day 21 - The end of week 3 today and gave her a bit of water, about 500ML’s or so. She almost ready for a little more LST so will probably continue in another day or so.
Day 24 - Into week 4 and she’s looking pretty damn good so I went ahead and continued her training today. Tied her main stem down again, along with a couple of others. I also removed two more big fan leaves to keep her lower stuff opened up. She got about 3/4’s of a gallon of plain pH’d water today as well.
Day 25 - Nothing major today after the watering yesterday. Gonna let her stretch a bit more before really continuing the training, though I did tie out one branch.
Day 26 - Went ahead and continued with the training today and she’s really starting flourish. Not much else going on other than training and removing a couple fan leaves every so often to keep her opened up.
Day 27 - She was pretty dried out so she got a gallon of plain pH’d water tonight. Didn’t do anymore training with her today, letting her stretch out a bit more.
Day 31 - Into week 5 now and all WAS looking good until I was continuing her training and snapped a branch, the screwed up and snapped another. Both of them are completely broken off so my fingers are crossed that she’ll recover. I gave her about a gallon or so of plain pH’d water and I’ll just have to wait and see how she does.
Day 33 - She’s looking surprisingly well after snapping two stems off 2 days ago so hopefully all is good and she won’t stress too much once she starts flowering. She’s throwing pistils out left and right now so this might be her last week in veg but we’ll see when the weeks over. Just did a little adjusting on her tie downs today, she seems like she really wants to stretch so trying to keep her pretty low instead.
Day 34 - She’s still going and not showing any ill effects from braking two branches off. I did want to remove a few of the giant fan leaves that’s blocking everything. No water for her today, want to let her dry out a bit more.
Day 36 - Starting week 6 and not quite into flower yet but should be really going soon. Just did a little leaf tucking with her today and will give her some water and nutes tomorrow.
Day 38 - She was pretty thirsty today and she’s definitely in flower mode now so gave her her first round of bloom nutes today. Removed a couple big fan leaves and tucked everything else.
Day 39 - She’s looking a bit raggedy but I’m sure it’s because of the two branches I’ve snapped off the other week but she’s forming buds and that’s what I’m looking for. Just did a little leaf tucking with her today and adjusted one of the tie downs.
Day 40 - Went ahead and removed quite a bit of the giant fan leaves from up top, they were blocking light from everything below. She’ll get water tomorrow, she’s about dried up.
Day 41 - Went and tied two other branches out because they’re growing right along side another and want them to have their space. She was ready for water today as well so gave her a gallon along with nutes.
Day 42 - The end of week 6 and all looks good. Not issues after a nutrient feed yesterday and she’s just doing her thing right now.
Day 45 - Into week 7 now and she’s looking good, did a little bit of defoliating today and she also got a gallon of water and Gold Leaf nutes today. Other than that, not much going on.
Day 46 - Just some updated pictures and did a little defoliating of the top fan leaves today.
Day 47 - Just updating some pictures today, nothing happening other than tucking her leaves again.
Day 52 - Not really having an issues as of right now with her, she was just dried up and ready for some water and nutes. Did a little defoliating of some of the lower dead leaves.
Day 53 - Nothing much to speak of today, just removed a couple dying leaves and tucked the rest.
Day 54 - Removed just a couple lower dead leaves today and tucked the rest. Not much else happening but will give her some water tomorrow with a good dose of Cal-Mag.
Day 58 - Into week 9 and all looks great with this girl, she’s got a real skunky type smell to her right now as well. She got a gallon of water and nutes today as well as defoliating some of the lower dead leaves.
Day 59 - Another one with not much happening, just did a little leaf tucking and got some updated pictures.
Day 60 - She’s gonna be ready for another round of water, cal-mag and a spoonful of brown sugar tomorrow. Just did a little bit of leaf tucking again with her today.
Day 64 - Starting week 10 and shes really putting off a strong citrus smell now. She was ready for some water so gave her a gallon plus a dose of nutes. I’ll start looking at the trichs now, she about 90% milky with some clear still in there.
Day 65 - Nothing new happening today, just took her out for some updated pictures. She’s still about 5-10% clear trichs but she’s getting there, probably another 2-3 weeks left tops.
Day 67 - She was ready for water today and she’s got about 95% milky trichs and a few amber scattered so starting the flush today and gave her 1.5 gallons of plain water. I’ll give her one round of Sugardaddy and Cal-Mag next watering and one more watering after that. She’ll probably get the chop in about 2ish weeks.
Day 68 - Nothing really to update today, just some updated pictures. I’m not really seeing any clear trichs in her anywhere so just waiting for her to amber up.
Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and just counting down until she’s ready to chop. Went ahead and started the flush and looking like she should be ready to get chopped next weekend sometime.
Day 72 - Nothing really new today, just waiting for her to finish up and looking like it should be next week sometime.
Day 73 - Checked her trichs out today and she’s pretty much ready to be harvested but I’d like for her to get more amber in her. I’m gonna give her one more watering of plain water and when she’s dried up, I’ll cut her down.
Day 74 - Gave her one last watering tonight and she should be dried up and ready to chop down by the weekend. If for some reason I check the trichs again and she doesn’t have the amber to my likings, I’ll let her go a little longer.
Day 76 - Checked her trichs out today and she’s done, gonna give her 2 more days to finish using the water up in the soil and should give her the chop on Saturday.
Day 79 - Planned on cutting her this weekend but found she wasn’t quite as amber as I want so gave her a gallon of water today and hopefully that will flush the rest of any nutes out and finish her up in the next couple days.
Day 80 - Just waiting for her to dry up then giving her the axe, for sure this time. She’s about 25% amber so when she dries she’ll be right where I like them.
Day 81 - Another day or so for her and her pot should be dried up and will most likely chop her on Thursday, depending on what I’ve got going on. Might just wait for the weekend and do it on Saturday.
Overall the grow with this girl could of been better but only because I screwed up early on with the LST and snapped two main branches completely off so I’m sure that slowed her down a bit but absolutely amazed how it almost didn’t even bother her. Looking forward to growing this one again soon.
