This is my first real attempt at growing. I have grown in the past, but wasn't taking it seriously. This time I hope to have a fully successful grow. I received both of the plants from my mother in law, she started the germination process and planted the seeds together in a .4 gallon pot. They were planted on May 1st and today is the 10th, so the first week of this diary is technically the second week but what can ya do. In the first 10 days there were really lacking properly light and potting. Upon receiving them, I repotted them into the cups that are in the photos and have them under the 1000w LED grow light that I received off of amazon. I am hoping that the consistent light schedule, being in a contained grow tent, and proper watering will help them grow quickly to catch them up to where they should be. I am looking into buying nutrients for them, but have yet to decide which brand I want to go with. Updates: May 12th: I have decided on using Gaia Greens all purpose for the vegetative stage and for the blooming state I got the Gaia Green Bloom Power. I have sprinkled some of the all purpose (maybe a tsp worth) around the top of each of the plants and for right now I am going to feed once ever 3 waters. May 16th: Today I bought a root booster to try and help the plants get rooted better into the soil. I have decided to go with ProMix root booster and followed what the directions on the bottle told me to do. I am hoping that this will help rapidly increase root growth and help me to establish nice, healthy plants. I think that the plants have grown a decent amount this week and I'm hoping for even better results next week! Wish me luck and let's hope I don't run into any problems! 😓 lol

Plants seemed to have grown a decent amount in the first week and I have high hopes for these guys! I am still not sure of the strain name, but I am pretty sure these are auto plants based on the limited information my mother in law knows about them. I have purchased Magic Melon Auto Flower seeds from Humboldt and am currently germinated 2 seeds that I plan to gift to my mother in law for her to grow them in her backyard for me. I am going to be repotting the plants into bigger pots soon as I can see the roots of each plant reaching the bottom of the current pots there are in. UPDATES: May 19th: Today I repotted the plants into the 3 gallon pots I got for them. Was one of the easiest transfers I have ever done with a plant before, non-cannabis plants included! I am hoping that it wasn't too much of a shock for them and they will now thrive in their new pots. I decided to go with Gaia Green Living Soil to stick with a common theme of products. Upon planting I gave each plant close to 0.8L of water that was mixed with the ProMix RootBooster and also sprinkled close to 3tsp of the Gaia Green All Purpose nutrients. May 23rd: Forgot to take some pictures for May 21st, so I instead took them for May 22nd. Trying to show every 2 days for the veg stage, though I can see me getting lazy with it as the weeks go on lol. Will do my best to keep you updated! May 25th: Mother in law asked me to take 4 others and let them grow in my tent a bit before transporting them outside. They are not looking to great, very little growth and super long stems (same height as mine). They havent even grown their true leaves yet. I am hoping that a week or two here will help jump start them and I can bring them over to be planted before June 7th. Have another 1000w grow light on the way to help get these little guys going, which I'm hoping will also help the growth and flowering of the ones I have! Due to the ones my mother in law had not being successful, it's a possibility I might have to give her the 3 I have been growing :( I'm really hoping I don't have to do this as mine, imo, have been doing super well and the ones I took from her are looking a lot like the ones I got from her on May 10th. :/ P.S. Might include some photos of my mother in laws plant that will be grown outside in the weeks to come :) Cheers to a (currently 😂 ) happy growing!

Third week let's gooooo Starting off this week with a wee bit of a fungas gnat problem due to overwatering (which you can see being mirrored with the curl of some of the top leaves) but going to try and combat that by not watering for a few days and hope that helps to dry out the soil and kill off the larvae. I'm seeing lots of new growth from the plants though!! Amazing how quickly they grow lol I got the new grow light on May 27th and installed it around 6pm, switched the lighting schedule too so that we would save on energy and have the lights run at night instead of during the day. Since adjusting to the new lighting schedule they are starting to grow super well. Hoping this week I will see tons of growth and hopefully start LST training next week if possible. Gonna have to look up some more information about LST training before attempting to try it lol

Was offline for a bit due to camping and my work schedule, buuut iI am finally back to give an update lol Had to give back the third potential plant to mother in law this week. Included may 31st in this week so it would have more photos, but it's apart of last week. I had a fungas gnat problem due to overwatering and probably due to the humidity being so high as well, which I have been trying to reduce as well but as struggling with that. So I had to skip watering the plants for a few days but they are still lingering around in this week. I had to continue not watering the plants in this week in the hopes that the problem would die out asap. I have also noticed in this week that plant #1 seems to be growing with the leaves slightly curled. Not sure what the cause could be but I'm hoping that its nothing serious. I'm also assuming due to the high humidity, there has been mushrooms growing in some areas of the plants. I have been pulling them out as I'm not sure how good they are. Hoping to solve the humidity and gnat problem for good soon. Ps. sorry for the lack of picture in this week :(

This week I was camping for 5 days and wasn't able to take much photos. On June 9th is seems like plant #1 is having more of a bit of a stretch and the leaves are looking a bit thin and curling in for the sides. I'm not sure if this is something i should look into as the plants looks healthy otherwise and the leaves on the bottom seem to be doing well. I should also note that both plants are under different lights. Plant #2 seems to be doing better under the light and i'm wondering if i should switch them out under the lights? I need to look into why plant #1 looks a lot different from plant two while being the same cannabis plant.

Was only able to get photos twice this week on the 18th and 20th, but I believe that they are going to start budding next week! I have high hopes for these guys still. I am still seeing the curling of the leaves and what looks like a slight wrinkling of the leaves? I am confused about what it could be. I've looked into something online about what it could be and i think the most likely thing is light burn? I also think that i need to go back to the regular watering routine that i have for them previously now that the gnat problem seems to have finally subsided.

Alrighty folks I believe we are finally into the flowering stage! Which means these are most likely feminized plants and not auto-flowering like I initial thought. I am very excited to start this process and can't wait to learn more about each of the plants and how they grow under each light. I have been lacking taking photos this week despite being home and looking at them almost every day lol. I hope that I can remember to bring my phone in there with me to take some photos for this week! June 24th, I seem those lil white stems coming up at the base of the plants!!! Going to switch the lighting to 12/12 tomorrow and hope that helps to speed up the flowering process. I'm also going to start adding the power bloom Gaia green into tomorrow as well when I watering them. Wish me luck!!

If they flowered by THEMSELF'S without u switching light.. Then they are autoflower.. But if you stressed her she will take longer to flower ( 3-4 wk st of flower no stress. Compared 4-6 wk st of flowering as she recovers.). Then it should be back on track.. If you didn't change to 12 hr on and she started flower then she's an auto..😳😳🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍good luck with your grow👍 and have fun with the grow buddy.and your harvest
