Second start

15.05. Preparation of the soil with ca 30% of cocofibre and movind Royal Dwarf to 0,25l pot, manually removing the seed pod from RJ2 I also replaced the GC4 LED Light with the GolLeaf X1 150 and passive cooling :-) 16.05. I moved the RD to an 3L Airpot. It's a test if the pot would keep their promise ;-) my tomato plant got also this type i also sprayed small amounts of the feeding water on the plants, etiolation is visible i think i will the seedlings a lil bit deeper in the soil 17.05. i reduced for 1h the distance from the lamp to test how the plants will react, WW shows a v-shape on their first leaves RJ's are slightly following, i get back to 60cm, i added 2tablespoons of cuxim mykorhiza 18.05. i read your answers regarding my concern about the v-shaped leaves and decided to move the lamp closer to the plants at 36cm to test their reaction, adding a tea towel above the lamp 2 times (morning, eraly evening) a day to keep the humidity constant 19.05 i'm satisfied at the moment with their development i added a little bit more soil, hoping that die stems will develop stronger, started slighty LST with carefully bending 4-8 times in all directions in the evening , adding a pseudo random program for the pc vents on the left side they are running at 5 volts 20.05. the RJ 1 in the front has now 6cm in height and 6,5cm in width :-) 23.05. 11th day after cotyledons are opened, watering with 250ml yesterday and today. In summary i gave 3,7l for all plants. Drain was 985ml EC 3,91ms/cm Gave them additional nutrients Biocanna Vega 3-1-5, additonal 5grams/plant of Easy Boost Sticks on the soil surface. I'm satisfied with the current development :-)

24.05. Sprayed 2 times with Rhizotonic on the leaves and checked height and width. Height : Width WW 60 155mm RD 45 105mm RJ1 40 145mm RJ2 75 190mm The top leaves of RJ2 slightly curling inward, so i moved the lamp at 48cm from the soil ground 26.05. watering only with Rhizo + 700ml mineral water to each plant 27.05. The curling has stopped. The main reason was the temperature at around 30°C. The LED produces a lot heat and it's distributed with 1 bigger and 2 smaller fans. I activated the exaust-air system to stabilize the temp. at around 25°C. Lamp is at 46cm above the soil ground

23.05. Watering plants in a 3day rythm 26.05 and 29.05. with around 2.8l mineral water, added Rhizo, Vega and Calmag (prevention) 24.05. Starting 4x Northern Lights as an "Outdoor Testrun", germination indoor and short time veg. in the tent and hardening for outdoor in the following days 29.05. moving the RD from the 3l Airpot to 9l Airpot. I made this decision cause i'm curious and wanted to know how the root development was. I did not take a picture but the development looked fine, straight down to the ground. I made a mistake and missed a slight watering to support the soil to keep the structure. The result was the RD lost 1/3 of it's bottom root. As i mentioned it was more an experiement for me for learning purpose :-) Checked the Root development of the WW and RJs and all of them reached the bottom. 30.05. 18th day in vegetation phase 03.06. i feed the plant on the 1st and 2nd of june with to much water and nutrients (2,8l in 24hrs) and i did not expect the exponential growth within hours so the distance to the lamp was very close at around 24cm which caused also a lot of stress. Now is the distance at 38cm from the tips, i check them now daily, it's is the last week of veg. phase and the preflowering started

4th week of vegetation 04.06. moving the royal dwarf out of the tent to balcony. We have a lot of sun a i live in a south-direction with a good balcony 05.06. - watering after a break of 2 days with 2.8l mineral water and rhizo, no nutes this time 06.06. - Day 28th of vegetation, pistols forming on all plants, smell is weak but noticeable, RJs are at 38 and 33cm and the WW at 38cm. I think the tent is really small ;-) 08.06. RJ1 44cm, RJ2 38, WW 48cm. I installed a second fan (15cm dia.) diagonal opposite to the first fan pointing slightly upward to the lamp. Temp is now sinking and stays at 24-25°C The humidity is this week around 40% so i added a wet dishcloth at the opposite side in the morning to moisten up the air. Watering with 600ml each plant with, Rhizo,Bioboost, Vega and CalMag. Vega and and CalMag at 25% of the recommended amount. pH 6.5 in the drain was the pH 7.2-7.3 13.06. i switched to a bigger tent 80*80*180cm which is better for e.g. heat distribution , plants still in the state of preflowering, WW: 65cm RJs at 52cm 09.06. WW reaches 51cm. Moving the lamp at 28cm from their tip. I'll see the result in a few hours.

15.06. watering with 2 liters 500ml per plant with Rhizo,CalMag, BioBoost and Canna Flower, changed the LED higher at 24cm from the tip of the white widow, removed dry leaves in the evening

20.06. WW shows N-Deficiency, RJs are also at the same way. Adding Canna Vega at the normal dosage to the feeding water. Preparation for a little vacation trip. So i got 4 clay addons for water bootles which distributed 300ml water per 24hrs. Starting light LST on RJ1 24.06. WW and RJs switching to flowering. The pistils at the nodes are changed from light-yellow to light-brown. The main cola at the WW gained more weight. WW: 69cm RJ1: 59cm RJ2:62cm Photos are comming in the next hours

02.07. Day 51 after sprouting i have been busy the last weeks, so i took pictures but didn't had the time to publish new informations / pictures WW is in a good flowering "mood" and RJ1 is getting also into flowering. RJ2 is slightly slower. Smell is stronger so i kept the vent. running at 24/7 I added 3 LED bulbs with 2700K at ~1100lm with 17 watt power consumption. The weather was the last 2 weeks very hot and rain comes the current week, which causes a very great amount of humidity ~ 80% in the tent. So i added some silica gel packs which i found and added three 14cm PC Fans running at 5volts and placed them in the lower area for more ventilation. So i hope the mold would stay away.

6.7. i fed all the plants with 3l in total to flush the roots. While i moved the plant for cleaning, the 2. biggest bud snapped off but it's still connected to the stem. I fixated to main cola and stabilized the side-fruits with soft-coated wire and it goes well. Buds are still growing. WW is around one week fast the RJ1 and 2 are are slightly behind.

17.07. 10th week starting Day 66 since germination WW shows more yellowing of the fan leaves and the trichomes getting slightly cloudy a small amount is amber RJs are more clear, i think i'll buy a digital microscope to get more details or i try some samples via dynavap which is quiet new for me since i consume the weed mostly as cookies :-) 19.07. Day 70 since germ. I tried an digital microscope from carson, but if you don't a stable hand(position) it's better to use a classic magnifying glass. I also missed to take shots from the RD which is flowering outdoor at my balcony, so i took some. I think she recovered well from the root-shock in may

Week 12 79th day after germination I harvested the main-colas from RJ1 +2 and plants are continuing their development. The trichoms on most plants are at around 50:50 clear and cloudy some amber trichoms visible Royal Dwarf went now inside cause of the smell ;-) it's as RQS described skunk-like On aug. 4th ends week 12 and i'll see if the lady will be ready for harvest.

13th Week after germination Day 85 The ladies reaching their final. E.g. the fan-leaves at RD changing slowly to purple also the RJ2 changes her color at the sugar leaves to purple. I'll post the result the following days :-) Day 98 18.08. I finally harvested WW and RJs. It was a lot of trimming necessary around 4hrs for each plant including breaks ;-) RJ1 is drying the 4th week. I made 2 jars with the trim from WW and RJ and let them sink in coco-oil - after activation of course. The effects are nice ^^ (24.08.2021)

RJ1 and 2 where great to grow. I recommend the use of LST so the side buds are getting fat and sticky.

Easy to grow. The ripening process took a little bit longer since the pistils are getting brown but the trich's where still clear. So in my grow i have to wait between 7-14 days to get cloudy trichs. The buds are heavy :-)

RD took the longest time to ripe since it was my failure, to stress the lady. It took additional 4 weeks at the balcony for the harvest. The harvest was more extensive since this strain got a lot of sugar-leaves which i cut out to make coco-oil. Added picture of the roots. The root-shock at the Royal Dwarf was really hard as you can see in the comparison.
