Happy Daze

This was an intensive week and even more so by my overzealousness with HST. She rebounded great from the deficiency only for me to snap one of her stalks while bending her. I gave her a few days and lots of water mists as well as some aloe vera gel to the wound but she would not heal. I assumed she would not need tape and in hindsight, I should have done that to save 50% of my expected crop. I cut my losses... and rid the stem to let her focus her energy on the remaining stalk. I topped her on Wednesday and so far she has had one two feedings and one plain watering. The feeding is 5ltrs of tap water that sat outside for a few days mixed with 10ml organic seaweed fertiliser (a chap down by the coast makes it in his yard) and 1tbsp epsom salts. The PH comes off as 7 and I use apple cider vinegar to bring it to 6.3-6.5. I added the following to the topsoil this week: - 5 tbsp worm castings - 1 tbsp bone meal - 1 tsp organic soil conditioner (made from cold pressed seed cakes) Other than that, I have just been letting her heal while my camel performs night duty.
