ARRIVA RUNTZ

Zkittlezman Sown on the 15th and after 5 days here it is coming out of the jiffy. Now I'll give it some time to root a bit and then off to the final pot.

Zkittlezman Everything is going well except for the fact that the stem has stretched a bit too much in my opinion, and I believe it's due to the lack of light intensity, so I moved the bulbs closer.

Zkittlezman When the RUNTZ arrived, it also threw out some nice little racks from the jiffy, so I put it in a medium pot of just under a liter to give the root system space to grow further, then I'll put it in the final pot.

Zkittlezman RUNTZ grows excellently and, since it's quite new, it's always nice to see it grow and watch how this plant develops. I can't wait for it to flower so I can enjoy the aroma of these sweet flowers.

Zkittlezman Started the flowering, so I removed some fan leaves and tied up the side branches so the buds will receive more light. Anyway, great growth!

Zkittlezman Everything is going great, the RUNTZ is producing a good amount of buds from the side branches, which I've tied in such a way as to allow sunlight to reach them better, and a nice main bud. Now it shouldn't grow anymore and should start redirecting its energy to the flowers.

Zkittlezman Finally, you can start to smell those sweet classic aromas of American genetics, super sweet. I can't wait to have it cured to see what a delight RUNTZ is, since I'm in love with zkittlez, I'm pretty curious.

Zkittlezman It grows quite well, I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of buds present and, now that we're at the end, it releases deliciously sweet aromas... mouthwatering.

Zkittlezman Beautiful plant with a delicious aroma and nice "fat" and "sugary" buds. We're nearing the end and I'm only watering with water this week and, if the trichomes allow, as we approach the weekend, I can do a root flush to make the aromas and flavors even better than they already are.

Zkittlezman Great specimen of autoflowering. It releases a delicious aroma that overshadows its neighbors. It's not harvest time yet, but you can already see its remarkable yield and how "fat" the buds are. The plant doesn't get excessively big because it has maintained a contained height without affecting the yield; it's truly an XL. I definitely recommend this plant and will grow it again since I've already germinated the next generation and put in two this time to make comparisons between two seeds grown identically that will develop into two similar plants, each with its own peculiarities. Kudos to SWEET SEEDS are deserved.

Zkittlezman SPECTACULAR AND MOUTH-WATERING!!! Honestly, one of the most beautiful plants with the sweetest smell I have ever grown. Definitely due to the fact that it’s growing outdoors, it’s taking a few extra weeks to reach maturity, and I mistakenly started giving it only water two weeks ago. In the last week, realizing my mistake, I started giving it nutrient solution again, but some leaves, especially the fan leaves, have started to yellow. That said, the genetics of this plant are very strong; it doesn’t suffer much from the heat during the day or if the temperature drops more than usual at night. It also holds up well in windy situations, as with just a simple stake it has withstood really, really intense windy days with gusts coming from all directions. And it has also produced a harvest, by my standards, that is quite respectable.

Zkittlezman Damn the heat. Unfortunately, due to the extreme heat of the last few days and my fault for not moving the pots to the shade during the hottest hours, my RUNTZ has suffered from heat stress. On the terrace where I grow, the temperature is nearing 40 degrees and the humidity drops to 20%, but the last few days have been really scorching and dry, and something that has never happened to me before, the buds have produced some resin drops, I believe due to the extreme heat that has caused them to expel liquids. With still 1-2 weeks to full maturity, I'm forced to harvest early also because it has produced what I believe are the bananas needed for self-pollination in stressed plants. I hope I managed not to ruin everything... keeping my fingers crossed.

Zkittlezman Unfortunately, a week of intense heat stressed my girl, forcing me to harvest early and consequently losing a bit of yield, but avoiding the onset of seeds in the flowers. She still produced 80g of huge buds and, for being an autoflowering, it's way above my usual yields. I have to say that just a bit of neem oil at the beginning of flowering was enough to keep her safe from various insects, especially red spider mites because they are really aggressive here, and aside from a few harmless spiders, it's unavoidable here. Probably if I had sheltered the plant during the hot week, I could have reached full maturity, but the fact that it took several weeks to be able to harvest already hinted that the conditions in my outdoor area are not optimal. I will definitely try to grow her indoors to see how she can turn out in more stable environmental conditions. That said, as a final note, I can guarantee that even novice growers can cultivate this strain, after all, SWEET SEEDS is one of the best seedbanks in the world.
