I’ve just been watering so far. Going to pinch them soon. I grew autoflowers the first time and so far I’m liking the photo period plants better because I can pinch and time the flowering. These blueberry are like 50/50 thc and cbd and I’m curious about what that effect is. Seems worth growing a couple to experiment with.

Growing really well so far. Thinking of removing a couple of fan leaves on each. Probably going to start feeding them this week. No sign of nutrient deficiency tho.

Day 27 - fertilized w/ 1/2 tsp. Grow Big and 1 ml Cal-Mag to 1/2 gallon of water. Plants are looking really nice despite the extreme bondage. I may cut the light back to 12 hours this week and initiate flowering. I’ll take the small yield. One autoflower is outside and the other is headed there, so they won’t be affected by lack of light. I’m impressed by the folks that are here on the diaries that are so meticulous about pH and record keeping and whatnot. I tried to be that way on my first crop and this one, so far, is looking so much better. This is photoperiods and the other autoflowers. So maybe that’s the difference also. Happy growing y’all and enjoy that newly Covid-free life!

I’ve been training them to be pretty flat and removing a few leaves to keep them open to the light. The photos on Day 32 show the 2 looking pretty haggard. I was surprised at how fast they bounce back from that. I could probably let them go vegetative a little longer. Feel like I’m reaching the maximum reaches of the pots for training. Also, a little anxious to see them in flower. So, cutting the light back to 12/12 starting tonight. They look like they have numerous bud sites. Happy Grows to you until we meet again.

Started short days on Day 36 at 12/12. Fed on Day 36 and 42 with 1 tsp Tiger Bloom, 1 Tbsp Big Bloom and 1 ml Cal-Mag/ half gallon of water. Water only on Day 40. Trimmed some fan leaves off one plant and may have gotten just a little carried away. I’ll consider that an experiment. Happy Grows

Day 44 - Watered only Starting to get frosty looking. Day 46 - Fertilized w/ 1 tsp Tiger Bloom, 2 Tbsp Big Bloom and 1 ml Cal-Mag per 1/2 gallon of water. Day 48 -Fertilized same as previous day. Seeing the first pistils arrive. Day 49 - Average height of the two plants is 11.5 inches and width 18.5. They’re fat bottom girls. *********************************************** Really happy with how they’re doing. I’d been growing autoflowers before and had some kind of fertilizer or pH or something problem. The leaves were turning all ghastly. So far, knock wood, these are looking pretty healthy. Still got a ways to go tho, I suppose. I was getting all anal about checking on the pH and whatnot last crop. I’m just letting in fly here. I’ve got lots of work to do in the veggie/fruit gardens too so it’ll be just as well if these gals don’t need a lot of attention. I’m very happy with how the training worked out on these. Glad I started flowering when I did. Thinking in the future I might even cut the photo period back a little bit sooner. Happy Grows Everyone! 🌱

Days 50 and 52 - Watered Days 54 and 56 - Fertilized w/ solution I’ve been using. ********************************************* They seemed to have big growth spurt this week. Been so busy in the fruit and vegetable garden I don’t have a lot of time for these guys so I’m glad they’re not fussy. These seem a lot easier than the autoflowers. I’m like using the same fertilizer every couple of days and checking nothing. And maybe just lucky. Be well and grow well. 🌱

Day 58 - Watered Day 61 - Fertilized ******************************************** Plants still doing well. Green and healthy. No sign of nutrient issues. Knock on wood. Using the same nutrient mix as I have been. I’ve been removing some leaves to allow light to some of the lower buds. Started cutting back to 12 hours at 35 days. Thinking I may do that sooner next time. They’re not too unwieldy, tho. Last week I messed up and recorded the week as vegetative. Hoping not to mess up this week. Don’t think there’s a way to edit? Day 64 and Day 69 -Watered Day 66 - Fertilized w/ the same combination as I’ve been giving them. ********************************************** Really haven’t had much to do on the plants which is good because my outdoor garden and lawn are extensive enough to require a bit of attention. Been harvesting a lot of raspberries and strawberries. 😋 I’m so impressed with the ease of growing these photo periods next to the autoflowers. It’s nice to be able to pinch them and not be on a strict timetable, too. I think I’ve probably got another 4 to 5 weeks before harvesting. My diary isn’t much more than a photo diary, but if they’re going to grow decent with no fuss on my part, I’m more than good with that. Time for other hobbies! Happy Grows to Everyone! Be safe, get vaxxed, beware of delta!

On days 72 and 76 I fertilized with the same nutrients I’ve been using. On day 74 I just gave water. I’ve noticed a slight yellowing on some leaves on one plant. With only a few weeks until harvest that doesn’t seem like a big concern. Towards the end of next week I’ll probably cut the nutrients out. I continue to be thrilled by what an easy grow these have been. I’ve put very little time into them beyond training early on and removing leaves up until the present. I expect they’ll start to look a bit shabby towards the end, but that’s always the way, isn’t it? Happy Grows to Everyone! If you’re somewhere getting brutal heat I’ll send cooling thoughts and my best wishes and healing prayers for the planet 🙏

Watered on Days 79, 82 and 84. Stopped giving any nutrient because I’m thinking I only have a couple of weeks left and they still look pretty healthy. One plant has a little yellowing of its leaves. Otherwise, all good. I did mess up and leave the lights on 24 hours one day, but it doesn’t seem to have caused any I’ll effects. Still have mostly white pistils tho I am seeing a few more brown ones. My projected harvest date is August 13, two weeks from today. 😊 Happy Grows All, Stay Safe!

So, continuing with what is essentially a photo diary... Watered on Days 87, 89 and 91. Last fertilized on Day 76. I have one plant that seems to be a day or two more mature than its sister despite them germinating at the same time. Go figure! And the one that’s behind is showing more yellowing of its leaves. I’ve read that at 70 to 90% browning of the pistils I should harvest. So, keeping an eye on that and have a loupe to check the trichomes, where I’m seeing a few browning. Hoping maybe to harvest a few of the more mature buds by next Friday. We’ll see. Happy Grows to All, Stay Safe and Healthy! 🌱

Days 93, 95 and 98 watered. Think I’ll harvest at least one plant this week. A lot of brown pistils. Took an ounce of fresh buds and used an Ardent to make butter and then chocolate chip 🍪. Nice not having to dry it. Never tried the balanced before and it’s very nice. Happy Grows Everyone. Be kind. 🌱

Harvested one plant this week. Got around 13.5 ounces. I believe. My scales are not super accurate. The remaining plant is an Energizer bunny. It just keeps putting out fresh pistils. Maybe this coming week I’ll have it harvested. Good grows, everyone!

My scales are not super accurate, so I’m guesstimating the dry weight at 5 to 6 ounces which I’m pretty happy with for the two plants inside. One thing I might try next time is a larger pot than the 3 gallon. Thinking that may have stunted them a bit. One weird thing was that one of the two plants was ready for harvest like two weeks sooner than the other. I really like the photo period plants much better than the autoflowers I’d grown previously. It’s nice to be able to pinch and train and initiate flowering on my own schedule. I don’t use a lot so I’ll probably have enough for awhile. I have a pretty good garden and will probably grow outside next year. I’m in NY and we’re legal for that in 2022. I’m thinking of growing the AC/DC CBD then. I understand it’s even lower in THC than the Blueberry. My tolerance has become very low for some reason. I do plan to put up a couple of small signs to identify them as CBD. There’s no sense in anyone going to the trouble of ripping me off and being disappointed. Not to mention my own anguish.
