Wow that’s cool. Soon you will have a forest of weed. I have never used a humidifier, But I don’t live in a desert. Even with a Mediterranean climate which can get dry air, humidity is never a worry. Your Afghan should also be coping well without, what part of the world are you? Using only half the nutrients recommended is also fine and much better than in excess.
