So to summarize my start and my setup. I started 4. 5. and it took the seed one week to germinate, so it got out of the ground on 11. 05. The first week I kept it outside or next to window. Today on 17. 05. I got my hands on growing tent, its Homebox Ambient Q30, the size of this tent is 30*30*60cm so this is going to be micro grow. My first one. The growing light I am going to use is dimmable FSGTEK 100watts full spectrum light, I bought it on aliexpress, the link to it is here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000127998080.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.29314c4dumnjMS I set it all up, I dimmed the light to its minimum, I dont know the exact wattage, but I´m going to measure It someday. I also made arduino to control the temperature and humidity by turning on and adjusting the fan (using 120mm pc fan, will need to switch to something more powerful, because pc fan cannot push air through carbon filter(made my own)), and to measure humidity of the soil to water it (still need to wire the pump to get it working. will do someday). I ended up with 38cm of space between soil and light. Not much, but this is micro grow. Set my light to be 18/6h on/off, trying to keep temperature around 25°C, humidity around 70%. I´m going to do LST and defoliation to keep it small. Around third week I will start to use nutrient, just a bit, I dont want it to grow much. will see how this ends up

sooo to summarize her first week in the tent At first she was growing slow, so I checked the intensity of the light (with smartphone app, but with quite goot reviews and I think its somehow accurate) and adjusted it to have around 600ppfd. Also measured the wattage of my dimmed LED light and its taking 35watts from the outlet, so with the size of my tent this is I think appropriate. She is doing great, no problems. She is thriving, growing appreciable amount every day, since I adjusted the intensity. Not drinking much, I expected her to be more thirsty and the light to dry the soil quicker, cause she is 18hours a day under quite intensive light. Based on this I was watering her somewhere around twice a week. I started thinking how to LST her, first I wanted to train her stem into spiral, but now I am more thinking about just tying her branches down and let the stem be. will keep updating once a week happy growing guys

Growing nicely, I decided to FIM her after all, waiting for her to recover. Started using nutrients, will see how she reacts. She is starting to have nice smell, will need to change my fan and add carbon filter. Added carbon filter I made from 100mm to 125mm pipe reducer, used active carbon around 35mm thick layer in the wider part of the reducer, for the carbon not to spill out I used carbon filter, normally used in vacuums or so. Inserted it on top of tent, so computer fan is blowing into it. I am quite amazed, because it works just with the computer fan, the temps are higher around 27°C, but I can change the speed of the fan if I wanted. So will not need to change the fan in the end. Also changed my layout a bit, so I gained 3cm for her to grow in. happy growing

Hello guys, I just want to ask If I had done fimming of my plant right? She looks like she is growing normally(chrismas tree shape), I don´t think she is going to split the top into two more colas. Dont know if I have to try one more time, or to top her. Thanks

Looks like you may have cut the two side shoots a bit and didnt fully top her leaving a small amount of leaf to continue to grow on the top and the 2 sides. Also I'm noticing some leaf curl. The way its curling suggests some light issue. I back the lights off a little.

I have a question about my LST, my first, so if you have any advice. I want to do basically SCROG, with 6 branches and the two from topping. Do you think her first two branches will be able to get to the top? They are not growing much, thinking about lollipoping them before flower

Yes on the right the track @martiniiii. They will eventually grow and reach the top, but to add LST is not a once off thing. Continuous tweaking is required. To get an even canopy you’ll probably need to LST the tops so they don’t outgrow the lower branches as well. Looks like those fan leaves are covering the two bottom branches, try tucking the fans out the way so those can get direct light and you’ll start see the difference.

one week later, I don´t know what I did wrong but I somehow fucked FIMming, I solved It by TOPing her instead. I also started LST to keep her low, she is growing like crazy, especially now after the LST (did 2 days ago, 5.6.). I am watering her every 3-4 days, today I watered her properly with 1,4l and will water her again when the soil is dry. I had problems with my carbon filter, the PC fan was not enough for my filter (I think because the carbon fabric filter layer) it doesnt have enought pressure to get enough air though. I tried inline fan (normally used in bathrooms) It was noisy and didnt do much more than the PC fan (when I adjusted the speed to somehow acceptable noice level). The temperature got to almost 29°C during day, wasnt at all making any flow. I decided to remove the filter and fan. So I weren´t using carbon filter for whole week, the smell gets quite intense when I dont have both windows open😆. Also because of this chaos I were not using exhaus fan at all, just the PC fan in tent to blow on the plant. The temps were higher 27-28°C and humidity skyrocketed to 90%+-. she is doing great with all this. I am currently waiting for better PC fan and some mesh to make another carbon filter, so the temps and humidity will ,I hope, drop, after I install it. In the upcoming week will do LST of the two branches from topping and also the other branches, to get them even lower, dont know how is she going to fit with her current grow rate. 😂 Will see Hope you all were also having great week happy growing

14.06.2021 She started growing like crazy. I needed to LST her a bit more, mainly the two new colas. Have been watering her every third to fourth day with 1.4l of water with nutes. She started frowering, so I had the last opportunity to defoliate her. I cut of few fan leaves to get better air circulation and light distribution. She handled it without any problems and she seems happy. About my smell issues. I tried another carbon filter to get rid of the smell, didn't work. So I changed the speed of the fan and the density of active carbon in the filter and it works somehow, I will just need to change my code to start the fan depending on the humidity. But other than that it works fine. ( If anybody is wondering what carbon filter I made, you can see it on one of the photos. Its just pc fan, which I destroyed, to get the case(its the black one) and then two pc fan meshes(or how to call them)) Will start using nutrients for flower and will see how she turns out See you next week

2306 She is growing vigorously, buds are fattening up and she is not stretching further more( because of the space limitations). Super happy with the progress. The temps got a bit higher around 31°C because of the weather outside and humidity is around 75%, there is not much I can do about it, when I´m using carbon filter. Trying to get fan leaves down under the growing buds, so they dont overshadow them. Will start using nutes for flowering stage. Few leaves started yellowing because I didn´t watered my plant enough, hope she will recover soon. Feeling super stoked with this week progress and hope the upcoming week will be at least as good Happy growing to you all

Her leaves started to yellow, probably because she was dried out for one day, so I watered her properly with 1.5l with 5ml of biocanna flores(first time). After 3days I would expect her to be dry again, but the soil is still quite moist. Why is she drinking a bit less?

Hi the reason it's taking a long time for your soil to dry is because of your grow space, its very small and is holding to much humidity in there, 75% I think you said. I haven't used your flower nutrient before but 5ml for 1.5L sounds quite high, like I said I haven't used it so don't know what the doses should be. So long as your getting run off and using correct ph and doses of nutes you will be fine. Just lower that humidity, 50% to 60% RH would be better.

2806 Her leaves started to yellow after she was dry for one day, and she is still recovering from it because some leaves are yellowing furthermore. Hope she will recover soon. I also programmed my arduino to water the plant based on the humidity of the soil, I am using small 5v pump. Its programmed to water every 12hours if the humidity of the soil is under some %. It's quite hard to dial the soil humidity sensor to get accurate data, will need to play with it a bit more. Her buds are getting bigger, but I hope they will really fatten up in the upcoming weeks. So I feeded her with flower nutrients for the first time, hope she will appreciate it. Few stigmas changed their color to brown. I think its going to take her 2 weeks to ripen, what do you think? What about flushing, when should I start (I´m using all organic nutrients)? I still have a big problem with humidity, It was around 95% for few days so I went and took off the carbon filter, now its around 80%, but because I dont use filter anymore my room is super smelly. Trying to get it around 60%, but its not an easy task when using such a small tent. My biggest fear right now is mold, so I better act fast. Happy growing

How long do you think till cultivation? Stigmas started to turn brown. When should I start flushing my plant when I´m using only organic fertilizers? And how bad it´s to have humidity around 80% when flowering? I´m worried about mold.

Hi mate, I'd say you've got another 3 or 4 weeks left yet. In regards to humidity, 80% is very high for flower. You want to be at around 40%. You should be thinking about increasing your tents air exchange, this can be achieved by using a bigger exhaust fan or you may even need a dehumidifier. When your humidity is that high you run the risk of bud rot. I'd get some fans inside blowing air around your canopy and look at getting that humidity down mate. Hope this helps 🙂

0607 Hello growers, she is fattening up so I´m happy. Still feeding her BioCanna Flores. Her smell is super intense now, dont have even a slight chance to get rid of it with my carbon filter. I used my other humidity meter to know if my arduino is measuring correctly, because the 95% humidity reading seemed too much. And now I know It´s not by a quite a margin. The humidity is around 55% when without activated charcoal in filter and with filled filter its around 65%. Much better than 90%. To bring it even lower I bought some kind of dehumidifing bag, but don´t see much a difference. Thinking It´s going to take her something around 2weeks for her to get ready for harvest. Super happy with her progress. See ya next week

1207 So another week passed by and here is what has happened. I thought I overwatered her because It took her a bit long to dry the soil, but everything fine, or maybe she was in small shock from small defoliation I did to get rid of excessive leaves. But today the soil is dry again after 4 whole days (I watered her with 1,5l with 4ml of nutes), I will just let her breathe for a bit and will probably water her in the evening or next morning (as I read It´s better to water them in morning). I installed new humidity/temperature meter and soil moisture meter and so far It´s far more accurate than the previous. Humidity is bouncing around 65%, a bit high but I´m not able to get it lower even when Im not using any carbon filter. My minimum I can get is 55%. So far it looks like its no problem for the buds. I have a fan blowing air inside of the tent for better air circulation and I hope It´s going to prevent the plant from getting mold too. About her apperance: she looks really happy, her leaves stopped yellowing and instead some started turning purple. Super happy about this as It makes her look far more beautiful. Her buds are still fattening up and hope they will even more.😬 I used my loupe to look at her trichomes and to get some indication about her ripeness. If I am not mistaken her trichomes look all clear, so I expect her to be ripe in something like 2-3 weeks. (I dont have any experience with autos, so I would love to hear your opinion). I want to harvest her when she has 15-20% amber trichomes. Probably will water her with nutes for the last time and than I will start flushing her. Or is it too soon? SOOOO happy with her progress, wish you the same see ya next week

Hi there,Normally flowering period will take at least 8weeks and your plant still have white pistils.Wait until most of them are turning into orange and check trichomes colour on buds(calyx) not on sugar leaves. If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour, it’s the time to harvest. It's also a good pratice to do proper flushing one week before harvest.Happy growing... ✌️

2107 Sad story short. She got mold. I had to cut off 2 of the biggest buds a one smaller bud which was near. For some reason I thought It´s going to be fine with the humidity around 55-65%. I know it´s super high but thats the outside humidity and I still dont know which dehumidifier to buy for my small tent. Will need to buy one for my next grow. Do you have any recommendation for small dehumidifier? Now I´m hoping the rest is okay and It´s not going to spread even more, because I cannot take more looses. Watered her with nutrients for the last time. Trichomes look almost all milky, with very little turning amber. I am going to harvest in 2-3 weeks. Happy growing and better luck for you

I was away for 2 weeks and during that time my friend was watering her. When I came back all of her leaves were dry and she doesnt look good. My biggest concern is if it has something to do with mold. I think I see only a bit of mold on one bud. And can I start drying her?

I would be harvesting asap, before the plant dies completely. Mould will be mushy and soft, you will know when you see it, (as it is quite obvious when you do see it), and cut it all off and throw it in the garbage, as it is not safe to consume or use mouldy buds in any way. The issue with this plant was not caused by mould, it is just an over ripe plant knocking on deaths' door. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Chopped on sat 07.08. and dry trimmed today on sun 15.08. Super happy with the results, got 33g of flower + 6g of sugar leaves (keeping them for edibles). Haven´t tried it yet as I´m waiting for it to be cured. But the smell is amazing as is the look. Probably will update when properly cured. Happy growing and wish you even better results.
