First time growing. When I first saw the seeds pop out I was ecstatic. I tried my best to keep temperature and humidity as close as possible to 70-75%rH and 70-74*F.
I am currently adding notes from previous weeks so they might be somewhat confusing or not as detailed because of it but I will try my best to keep it updated from now on!
Like I said in the first week, this is me just updating the previous weeks so that anyone who is doing a similar grow can follow along and see how theirs compare. Regardless, I saw a large boost in growth towards the end of the week between days 12-14.
If I remember correctly, I began some nutrients in week 3.
So this week started off decent but then ran into some issues with this plant looking super limp. I also had a gnat problem but I got it under control so I was wondering if that was contributing to the limp leaves. I decided to wait until the soil dried more and the gnats died to water it.
I looked at other grows to see how much they feed their plants with my nutrients so that is what I did.
After watering, the plant immediately looked better so I think the issue was there was a phosphorus deficiency or an all around deficiency due to the things happening to the older leaves.
On D21 I decided to introduce some LST by moving the main branch to the side to introduce more light to the lower sights.
So since I am finally up to date on these weeks, I can start giving more detailed things on what happens day to day for people growing similar strains with similar nutrients and also for myself as a learning tool.
D22:
-Is the day I started training the plants with LST. However the stem towards the bottom is kinda firm so bending it only at one point was difficult and I ended up leaning most of the stem towards the one direction where I started LST. I don't think this is a huge deal in my opinion in my first grow. The plant is a small boy but that's totally fine.
- I believe I also fed it this day with the nutrients listed above.
D23:
-Not much of anything different I did on this day compared to D22. I noticed some nodes starting to pop out of the crevasses so I think my LST is working??
-Anyways, plants look good and growing a lot better than they were in the beginning of its life.
D24:
- Just some more LST and small adjustments to keep the small sites a chance to have more light and grow so that I don't just have one main cola.
D25:
- I saw the leaves drooping a little and decided today would be a good day to try watering until run-off to get a better of where the pH is.
- I have been watering for with a pH of 5.9-6.0 but I guess I should water the next few times with something lower, possibly a solution with a pH of around 5.5?
D26:
- The watering definitely helped the plant as the leaves began popping back up.
- LST continuing. I began training it into a spiral just because it seems like it can help increase bud sites and stuff.
D27:
- So I wasn't expecting this but I began seeing some pistols!!11!!!1!!!
- I was extremely excited when I first saw it. This is a sign that I should begin implementing the bloom part of my nutrients into the plant.
D28:
- The new sites are growing and the plant itself is stretching. I guess I'm in the stage where the plant is gonna be stretching for the light. I also accidently broke a stem with a site on it :( I was a little too tough with it. Rookie mistake. I will need to learn how to be more gentle with the plant.
So there has been some housing changes for me and for the time being, my friend is willing to take care and watch my plants for me. So I won't be able to give daily updates on the plant.
Regardless, he is what has happened. I am almost done switching her from grow to bloom nutrients and I expect for W6 to be all bloom nutrients.
LST wasn't so responsive on this plant so that's why there's one main branch and a few small ones. All good though.
I did do very light defoliation (2-3 leaves) to give more light to other possible places. Regardless, there has been some drooping but I think I have narrowed down the reasonings for it.
So this week went very well. It started off kinda shaky but I have finally figured out a good feeding schedule and nutrients for the plant and the buds seem to be getting bigger and bigger as the days go on.
I think I might have gave a little too much nutrients so I will lower it for this upcoming week.
So this week was probably to most hectic week so far for the plants and myself. I was in-town for a few days so I was able to see the plants and I separated the branches to get more airflow and light between all branches.
The main difference is that, as you can tell from the pictures, the plants have moved to a new location for a few days with only sunlight as the source of light.
This didn't seem to affect the plants too much and they seemed fine once I moved them back to their original spot. They were left unattended for the rest of the week so I figured with the hot weather and someone not being able to see them each day, a flushing would be a nice thing to do since it fully saturates the pot, cleans out a majority of the salts and supplies enough water for the days they were left unattended. A think there is a few more weeks of flower left so its getting close and I am quite excited for the final product.
(flushed with pH of 5.8 and with 25% of actual nutrients)
So this week has probably been the most smooth this entire grow and it also being my first grow.
As you can see from comparing pictures from D50 to D56, the colas have been getting quite thick.
I am super happy to see that occurring. It reassures what I am doing is correct and I can't wait for a few more weeks for when its harvest time.
There are discolorations on the leaves but I think that was from before due to calcium deficiency. But I think the plant is good now.
Thank you for all the likes on my grow diaries, it is greatly appreciated!
This I believe will be the second to last week of flower.
After this week, I will be flushing with just normal pHed water and giving it 24hrs of darkness before chopping.
She seems to be getting super dense, sticky and thick. Which is all great things to hear.
As this grow winds down, for my first grow. Everything has been going great and I have learned so much about growing and about how plants function in general.
So this is the final week. Flushing week and checking trichomes to see when to give them 24hrs of darkness and then dry. Pretty excited since this is my first grow.
Once I have chopped and dried, I will make the final week with wet and dry numbers!
Talking about the bud itself. It was always airy when growing, it grew in nodes and never super compact or dense. Which kinda makes it look poopy.
Not bad though, great trichome development and nice smell.
My friend and I who grew this together smoked a little before curing and it burns pretty well and made us pretty high.
We used lower tier/popcorn buds too and it did the job.

I wasn't there for the drying process so I think it wasn't the best environment (~80F, 49-51% RH).
I really want to try growing this strain again to get some redemption on it.
Regardless, for my first grow, I am extremely pleased with the outcome!
I got a little tip if you would like to take it... maxi bloom from 3rd week use 1 little scoop for 1 gallon and add 1ml per liter of cal mag, I find it works better than using maxi grow, looks good though buddy happy growing :)
