Tragedy has struck one of plants NL turned out to be male and had to be destroyed - not sure how much the Afghani will be affected (was still in pre-flower) - great learning experience seeing a male 1st hand and can now identify it, simply put if it has "balls" it's a male.
Extremely warm and sunny for a week now - Afghani is starting to flower nicely, lots of sites but very small still, maybe additional nutrients would increase this, might add something and see what happens.
I can now definitely see the difference between male and female with the presence of the pistols on the flowering sites.
A little concerned about yellowing of 2 leaves near the base of the plant but top where the good stuff is looks good.
