This is our first ever grow so we are learning a LOT! Firstly, the girls germinated fast, and we used Root Riot plugs to help our girls take root. Once we set up our grow tent, we ran into the roadblock of our ladies wilting from being too far from the light, and once we fixed that they parked right up. Around day 5 we added a light fan breeze. We are keeping an eye on the humidity and utilizing distilled water to water soil and humidify. We are on the way to getting a nutrient recipe, so we are a little behind, but we are so happy that we are learning!
Much more trial and error this week, we ended up losing some sleep over these girls! We had one instance of wilting with our tall lady, and found that the humidity over watered her, so we brought them outside for some fresh air and sun and they perked right up. Our short lady is going strong with her second set of leaves steadily growing, and our tall lady just popped her second set yesterday, small victories! We have started supplementing them with fish water too and they seem to be taking to it very well. Once we are able new soil, pots and nutrients are on the way, but for now we are so proud of our progress!
Oh my gosh this has been such a fun journey so far! Our little girls are filling out their first set of leaves and have already started popping their second sets! The fish water seems to be doing wonders, and our fan/humidifier/vent routine seems to be doing well too. We have sucessfuly straightened out our tall girl, which was a huge relief to us as we were worried she would fall as she got bigger. As she grows we will definitely keep support on her as she is always going to be thin in the stem, but the learning process has been amazing. We already feel we have learned a ton since we started and are so happy and grateful four our progress so far! Any advice is appreciated as always and thanks to everyone for the support!
We have had some top heavy ladies this week! They popped right out with their big leaves and we couldnt be happier. These little ladies have a way to go still, and the struggles they faced early on definitely altered their foundational grow, but every day we learn more from these gals! As always any advice is appreciated!
