Runtz 630w LED NFT

Esoteric_growing Cuttings rooted in a very quick 6-10 days from the first to the last. These are cuts off my best 3 phenos which will be reduced down to one or two phenos on the next run.

Esoteric_growing Transplanted into 3 inch cubes, really happy with the speed of the root development.

Esoteric_growing Showing magnesium deficiency so added some cal mag which will rectify the issue. Will be transplanting in to 6 inch cubes in the next few days

Esoteric_growing Much happier with the growth than previous week, these are massive without even going on the NFT table and only under a 125w cfl.

Esoteric_growing Decided to put them on a 18/6 cycle to get them ready for the LED light cycle in the big tent. Absolutely massive already and going to have to scrog them down to control the big stretch these plants are know for.

Esoteric_growing Very happy so far and I turned the lights on to 12/12 today. Also turned the LED up to 380w and still learning how close I can get the plants to the light with such a efficient LED.

Esoteric_growing Explosive growth during the first week of flower, also turned the LED from 380 to 500w at a distance of 48cm. Only thing on my mind is when to defoliate, torn between doing it once now day 7 flower and again at day 21 or to wait until day 21 and do it all at once. Left the EC at 1.2 as they look happy.

Esoteric_growing Defoliated one final time, running out of height space fast. Hopefully they do not stretch much more in the final 6 days of stretch. Also picked off a few lower shoots after pics were taken, it was quite a aggressive defoliation so hoping they recover well in the next few days. Also raised ec by 0.1 as the ec dropped a point over the last few days.

Esoteric_growing Stretch has finally almost stopped, canopy is almost too packed. Did my last bit of defoliation today and now onto the most interesting part.

Esoteric_growing Seeing a couple of red hairs which is very early for day 29 flower, had a good check of every branch and can’t see any signs of balls or nannas. Maybe the fact this run is using a led and this time it’s clones is the reason for the early red hairs. Fingers crossed I have not missed anything as the canopy is a little too packed

Esoteric_growing Pretty low maintenance now apart from a tank change every 7 days, reduced the EC a touch to 1.3 as not using the pk anymore.

Esoteric_growing Fantastic thc production and buds nicely developed, swapped out the shogun boost for the bud xl which I like to do for the last week before flush. Dropped EC down to 1.1-1.2 as they are in the final stages of flowering. Only issue is I regret getting rid of one of the phenos so may try and take a clone from a small flower to save it.

Esoteric_growing Started flush day 49, very happy apart from a bit of heat stress from the crazy hot weather over the last week. Quality again is looking 10/10.

Esoteric_growing So I harvested the top half of the canopy at day 58 while leaving the bottom half to finish up for another week. Looks like the best yield so far running for my runtz muffin grows. Also dropped the water temp at night to promote colouration of the buds which seems to be working very well.

Esoteric_growing Hung bottom half of canopy and so impressed with the result and colour. I am already so blown away by this strain I struggle to grow anything else. Will report back soon with dried bud pics

Esoteric_growing Very happy with the yield which was close to a gram per watt used with a quite low yielding strain and that was with a very very close trim job. Could easily have been a gram a watt had I not trimmed it for a top shelf look. Quality was as usual 10/10 with runtz muffin which I have come to expect. Such amazing phenos to be found.
