Strawberry Kush - DWC

All seedlings look quite good except 1...i have planted 1 backup seed and placed it in a mini DWC...2 weeks to go till i repot them into the big tank EC 0.7 PH 6

It was a bad week...with a happy end! I forgot to turn on the exhaust after i installed the bigger light + the weather was hot...the rez got to 33.5°C...probably over 20h... Roots went from white to brown within 24h..i thought everything is lost..plants looked aweful on top and bottom.. Just before all that i added first beneficials(TNC mycorrmax hydro)...they must have saved me...because just today i checked again and now i see loads of white roots coming out of the brown slimy coating...plants also don't look worse and keep growing healthy new tips As it looks mycorrmax won the battle!

They really recovered from the rot... Roots look quite white again and all seem to almost double in size each day Watertemp still very high with 26°C but they seem to like it Transplanted them to the big tank at the end of the week

Toped them on D28, cut all node growth except 3, so there will be 6 big branches for each plant...wil lolipop them later on EC 1.0 was too much for them(extreme dark green growth) so i lowered it to 0.8... Changed rez at the end of the week(1 week intervall) and adjusted ec to 0.9

I was a good week, explosive growth! EC fell from 0.9 to 0.3 during the week Rez temp is very high, 26°C all week but beneficials seem to work Roots are very white 1 of 12 isn't growing...it's still the same size as 7 days ago, roots of it don't look good...

Plants did a good stretch this week EC fell from 0.7 to 0.3 PH was quite stable, didn't adjust this week Water temp was stable at 21°c Roots look good I removed the small one, sadly roots were completely rotten... Changed rez at the end of the week and switched to bloom nutes

It was a good week, PH was stable at 6.0-6.5 whole week EC droped from 0.9 to 0.7 They stretched alot, i had to remove the filter inside to raise the lights First buds are forming

Explosive growth this week! I had to install a net...and another one a few days later... PH was quite stable at 6.5 EC fell from 0.8 to 0.6 Replaced whole rez at the end of the week I had to raise the light to the top end of the tent...can't raise them anymore...max height reached... I installed the last light at the bottom of the plants...it's a experiment...as far as i read all green parts do photosynthesis, the underside of the leaves too...it would be too hot for it on the top of the plants anyway..

Buds coming along nicely...i put in some PK boost in midweek They are VERY close to the lights...will propably get alot of bleached headbuds...i tried bending them under the net but they just keep on growing... set up another ventilator as i'm concerned of mold due to high RH (70%+) PH was very stable 6.3-6.5 all week without me doing anything...i just refilled some NL..they drink alot...refilled like 8L EC went from 1.0 to 0.7....i adjusted it to 1.1 at the end of the week

Another easy week...i only refilled NS as they drank alot... Buds getting fatter every day EC fell from 1.2 to 1.0 every few days PH was very stable at 6.2-6.3 all week Replaced full NS at the end of the week (14 days cycle) Adjusted EC to 1.3 after changing rez...will let it stay at 1.3 for the next 2 weeks

Great week again...work effort was like 3h whole week...only had to refill NS (+-20L every 2 days) Buds getting fatter every day...no brown pistrills yet so budgrowth is still in full effect PH was very stable again, 6.1-6.2 all week EC fell slighty before refilling NS I think EC 1.3 could be a bit too much for them...leaves are quite darkgreen and they start to get nuteburn on tips...but i'll leave it at 1.3 for the rest of the grow I decided that i won't exchange NS completely anymore...will leave it be till i replace it with pure water in 2 weeks (will be a 3 week cycle then) Roots look great + i put in 15g of TNT Bactorr, water temp is at 20-21° so no need to worry about rot till the end of the grow i think

Again a easy week...just refilled NS every 2 days (about 20L each time) PH was constant @5.9-6.0 and EC was 1.3-1.2 all week It's very humid inside the tent and i was afraid of mold so i decided to defoil alot to reduce transpiration...and actually found mold on one of the buds...i removed all mold widely..like 10g of bud... I removed like 25% of leaves...almost all big leaves are gone now Set up another ventilator from below...so now 4 vents inside Replaced 80L NS (half of the rez) at the end of the week 2 weeks till harvest

I wanted to harvest at day 70 flower but on day 63 i saw some mold on few buds...so i decided to emergency harvest...it was a good decision...alot of big buds had mold inside...i had to throw away like 150-200g of high quality mainbuds...too high RH was the cause for mold...the bad weather over here had my RH going over 70% late flower and over 80%(!) with lights off... The remains were not affected by mold and dryed to 58% RH it was a total amount of 505 grams The smoke is great! Great fruity taste and wonderful indica effect! Even i'm not satisfied with the result concerning amount harvested i'm still very satisfied with the smoke...when it comes to kush this strawberry kush is one of my favorites so far!
