Costosito I get the feeling that it has stopped growing and some small flies are coming out of the mulch, not many though. I watered it on May 25 with fish mix to see if it helps it grow a bit. Any input or advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I notice the plant is stagnant; it hasn't grown at all in the last 2 weeks and there are some small flies in the mulch that worry me. There aren't many, but I watered it today, May 25, with fish mix to see if it helps it gain strength. I would appreciate any input or advice, thanks.

The fish stuff will draw them to it. Try to reduce the frequency at which you water/feed and place yellow sticky traps on the soil surface. Hope that helps you and happy growing!!!

Costosito It has recovered a bit from its stagnation, for now everything is good.
June 3: I discover white spots on the leaves and I don't see anything until I see some kind of white eggs or larvae, could it be that they are eating it? I don't know what it could be.

I've started to notice that the leaves had some little white spots, but I didn't see any insects or anything until I found a kind of tiny white eggs or larvae under one of the leaves. I don't know what it could be or if it's really bad or how to get rid of them. There are some tiny flies too.

Costosito It keeps growing but still has some small flies; for now, I haven't found any more eggs under the leaves.

Costosito It has been treated with fungicide and the fungus gnats have disappeared, and it has regained color and strength. Now it grows faster and has a perfect color. Let's hope it continues like this!

Costosito Good week, it has grown, I have increased the volume of fish mix and it seems noticeable. I should also mention that the pot was bigger, it has taken on a darker color from the nutrients, I imagine.

I've noticed for a few days that the leaves of the plant are turning yellow or looking like in the photo. I'm not sure if it could be some kind of deficiency or lack of nutrients since I haven't fed it more since the last time, and it's taken on a lighter color.

Yeah, that's true, love and maintenance are a must, but there was a time when I didn't notice that growth change, not even in the leaves, and I doubted there was any pest, but it seems healthy. Let's see if it starts to grow little by little; we'll see how it changes each week. π
