Girls got a little bigger than I wanted, so time to flip them into flower. Added liquid KoolBloom at 5ml/gallon. Moved light 10” higher as I have some light bleaching on Lyss.
Just trimmed about 2lbs of foliage off the plants, probably the last time I’ll defoliate before harvest. The girls are looking healthy and happy, bud sites are forming and the smell is getting rather intense.
Had some issues this week, hence the late update. Started week 4 of flower Saturday, swapped from liquid KoolBloom to powdered KoolBloom and now have some nutrient burn in Koko, the other plants are perfectly fine. The frost starting to show is remarkable for so early in the flowering phase, and the smell is simply divine in the tent. Also had my Bloom Plus BP-3000 lose half the bank, and immediately ordered the larger BP-4000 so as to try and minimize the damage from limited light exposure. Overall super happy with how this grow is going, can’t wait to see how these beautiful buds fill out!
Trying to fight nutrient burn in one of the girls, reduced all nutrients to try and keep it from spreading to the bud sites. Entering week 5 of flower, the girls are starting to look absolutely beautiful. Frost production is starting to pick up, and the smell is intoxicating. My wait till these girls are ready for harvest!
Just feeding the girls and letting them do their thing. Going to start flushing next week, harvest in another 2-3 weeks. The frost production is getting intense.
Fed the girls for the last time, reduced the nutes slightly as I taper off to the flush. From here on out the girls get nothing but distilled water pH’ed to 6.3. You can see the nutrient burn that started the first week I introduced powdered KoolBloom, have been fighting it since. The only plant that was really effected by it was KoKo, the other 3 plants did fine. I will say Koko, despite not handling as much nutrient intake, is the frostiest of the girls. The single OG Kush barely has any trichome production, but the smell, DEAR GOD the smell, definitely the most pungent and enticing aroma. Just gonna leave some pictures so you can admire the girls in their trichome adorned beauty.
