I start my seeds directly into their forever pot. I do not like simply saying this much water every two days. You really need to pay attention to the plant and soil. Early, with a seed or sprout I like to water the soil about 5-10cm around the plant and so the water soaks down to about 15cm. Then I put a moisture dome (clear plastic cup) over it. You may not need to water for several days. Keep the soil moist but not saturated. After the first set of true leaves are a few days old I remove the moisture dome. Then I keep in mind that roots are often 2 or 3 times deeper than the plant above. When you water give some to moisten the soil and let it soak in. Then a minute or two later add more water. I want the water to soak down deep. Doing it in small waterings a couple minutes apart lets you see how the soil is taking the water. As the plant grows I try to imagine where the roots will be or where I want them to be in a week. Roots do not grow into totally dry soil. They grow looking for water so keep the soil moist ahead of the roots so they have something to head towards. So as the plant grows stay ahead of it by watering at least everything under the canopy and better 10+ cm beyond the canopy until your watering the entire pot. After the plant is past about the 3rd node I water long and deep. Then I do not water again until I stick my finger into the soil and it's dry down past the first knuckle on my finger. As the plants get bigger I let it dry down to two knuckles before watering again.

Hi mate, you want to water small amounts regularly. Roughly the footprint of the plant and about 30-80ml each time... This will differ depending on environment so you will have to keep an eye on her tile her roots are established. Good luck and happy growing

And yes, lower your nutrients atm (if you're using), though you can use calcium, potassium and magnesium to kinda buffer if pH is too low.

You've got some bad ph (or genetic issues) there. Looks like nitro excess, lack of calcium, too acidic sort of shit.

Defoliation is not a necessary step in cannabis cultivation and I would have to ask, what benefit do you think it will achieve? Removing healthy green leaves only reduces your plants capacity to make energy and will slow growth, not speed it up. Plants can not "channel" energy anywhere, all energy is used equally wherever growth is occurring. To remove leaves so that the plant "channels" energy into bud growth would have to be the most misunderstood aspect of cannabis cultivation. To suggest that a plant could "channel" energy to a specific site would indicate that the plant has a brain and is capable of making conscious decisions, which it clearly can not do. Secondly, if it could "channel" energy, the energy is made in the leaves, meaning that if the leaves were removed, there would be less energy available to "channel" anyhow, making the whole process of defoliation pointless, if there were not a sudden upsurge in available energy to "channel" into bud growth due to the removal of leaves. Just remember - Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth. It is that simple and basic plant biology. Besides, if your plant did not need those leaves, it would not have grown them in the first place! Personally, I have not defoliated a plant for 30+ years and would never consider doing so ever again. The plant knows how to grow and anything that has a negative impact on the plant, like defoliation, is also going to have a negative impact on the flowers, be it quantity, quality or both. I do however believe in a small amount of well considered "lollipopping", about mid way through veg and then again at the beginning of flowering, and rather than remove leaves, just tuck them out of the way. I only ever remove yellow leaves, for once they are yellow, they have served their purpose. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Fan leaves are like solar panels. If they aren't getting light, then they aren't good producers. Your choice is to cut it or give it more light by removing or repositioning another leaf. Remove leaves to open up for lighting, for better air circulation, or to remove dead/diseased leaves. Remember not to cut what look like new leaves growing from in between a fan leaf and the main stem. These are actually new branches and colas.

Just unplug the big fan leaves only when they are recovering the second lower layer of a bud in Flowering or a side shoot in Veg. Keep in mind that the leaves are like solar panels and food storage, they are vital for the photosynthesis.

This week had problems with the temperature, which became up to 30 degrees, despite the humidifier. Have solved it with flower boxes filled with water.
