I got both plants 10 days ago, the stooped fruits as a seedling and vanilla frosting as a clone. After a few days I noticed some discoloration on both plants in different ways. The vanilla frosting had a few leaves that had started yellowing. The other plant had a few leaves with spots on them. I figured my lights were too strong for them so I moved them from being directly under the lights and moved them up as far as possible. I also wasn’t sure if I had a nutrient deficiency but didn’t want to give them nutes too early. Yesterday I gave them their first dose of cal mag n fr grow big n big bloom
It is normal for a fresh new plant from seed to grow much more vigorously than a clone. The clone may be getting weak and it goes through different hormone changes once you cut it, when it starts to root and when it starts to grow. Seed starts out all ready for what it was born to do. No manipulation, no stress. Cheers
I upped the nutes a lil this week. The vanilla frosting has started to grow faster. I removed a few fan leaves from the stooped fruits to help the light reach what was underneath. I also moved the lights an inch closer.
I ended up Fimming the plants after my last entry. Actually Fimming the vf n accidentally topping the sf by cutting to much. Both show recovery the vanilla is growing faster. Been lower light time day by day. Gonna make the switch to flower tomorrow. Gave them both a teaspoon of open sesame today.

My advice is that with coco don't treat it like soil coco should be watering more regularly than soil what size pot are you using? Why i ask is people make a very common mistake with coco they treat it like soil with coco you dont really want it to dry out I would say what your doing is nearly correct but I imagine you were feeding to much one time the way I think coco should be fed is say your using a 16litre pot and plants big drinking fast in veg feed 400ml 5 times over the18 hours if they are drying out before the 3 hours between feeding up400 to 500 start as soon as lights on and feed just before lights off they drink very slowly in dark so that little will hold them. in bloom the plants are going to drink more but think over the 12 hours light every 2 hours hit them with 500 ml if they dry in-between feeds up the feeds 600 or 700 with cocoyou don't want totally dry ever like you would with soil it will make you work coco's coco wants small pot 5-7 feeds per day and I think soil bigger pot and every 2 day feeding i hope your OK with my answer im going to follow you and please follow me let's share the knowledge and experience and become 👍
Switched to 12/12. Had to take more leaves from the sf. It’s still not growing as fast as the vanilla. I’m hoping that’s because of the vanilla is a clone. The vf is showing sign of female. White pistals. The sf still has no preflowers.
The white pistils are still comin in everywhere on the vf. Added a lil more of tiger bloom this week. The seedling has yet to show any sex signs. I’m afraid I switch it too soon.
It’s been a hot week and my ac is broken I’m hoping to get it fixed tomorrow. Eased back on the nitrogen this week also did some defoliation to both plant. The vf has really started to bloom and the sf has finally showed it’s white pistils.
Both plants are growing well. The vf has have buds with lots of trichomes and other that are not as visible yet. Idk if that’s normal. The buds have gotten bigger not as big as I hoped yet. The sf has really grown. Buds are filled with trichomes n really sticky. Both plants pistils have started to turn amber. I’m also wondering if this is normal at this stages
Not good pics but both plants are progressing. The sf has really caught up bud are getting bigger. The vf is taking it time to mature all of brown hairs. Maybe 3 more weeks
