D64, Sun: This marvelous plant is now at the end of her 9th week. She's really something, full with buds that have been fattening up really nicely and smell sweeter by the day. The pistil production has slowed down in the last days while the trichomes have become more erect and milkier, shimmering in the sunlight. During the day she's under a tree that will provide some shade around noon. During the night she's under a roof, where she's out of reach of morning dew. Still, the air is very humid at night, but the fan seems to do good work as so far I haven't seen any signs of budrot.
I slightly defoliated her, primarily to get rid of the leaves that have started yellowing and were prone to pest infestation. As a matter of fact some of the older leaves already had initial signs of spider mites on them so they had to go. Additionally, I removed a couple of fan leaves that blocked sunlight from getting to the flowers.
Depending on the weather, that is said to be deteriorating over the next days, I have to decide when to bring her in, but it wont be too long from now. My anticipation is under control for now, chances are it might be an objective decision π That being said, I can't wait to taste her once she's dried and cured. And obviously I am very curious about how she'll enchant me by then π
This concludes the first week for Gloria, she's become a beauty, very easy on the eyes π Can't wait to find how she'll amazes me one week from now π
