I’m super excited to start this next grow, there will be 3 different strains but I’m documenting them all separately. I’ve been looking forward to trying this Banana Kush for a while, if it’s as good as I’m hoping then my next one will be a mother to take clones from and possibly breed my own feminized BK seeds once I get some colloidal silver. Then eventually breed my own Strawberry Banana after I get some Bubblegum reg seeds.
She popped up out of the dirt today, now I just gotta wait for her to open up.
Day 1- I’m glad this one popped, now the fun begins. I’m definitely puttin this girl in a 7 gallon pot because I want her to produce as much as possible. I’ll be transplanting at the end of week 2.
Day 8- this girl is developing nicely, feeling a little bit impatient, I just wanna see what this girl is gonna look like when she gets some mature leaves and stuff lol I’ve still got a couple of weeks to go though. I just might try to scrog this one and the G13 Haze in the tent. The ATF is too short of a plant for that so I’m just gonna top it and see how she grows.
Day 15- I’m definitely gonna wait until the end of this week to transplant my girls. With that being said, she’s developing nicely. This girl is the tallest of the plants in this run and I’m looking forward to training the shit out of her.
Day 22- Same story as the other 2; transplanted a few days ago and topped her 2 days after transplant. Also fed with 25% nutrient strength solution. Gonna be interesting to see the differences between these girls.
Day 30- This girl is fairly vibrant compared to the others in my opinion. She’s recovered well from the topping and will be ready for lst soon. I’m definitely gonna lst the shit outta these 3 plants in this grow based on what I’ve learned from the one I’m bout to harvest.
Day 36- The Kush genes are starting to show in the leaves as they get bigger; it’s hard to tell the difference between leaves when the plants are small. I’m thinking about giving these girls a 10 week veg to see how that affects rootball development.
Day 43- After feeding with .5L of nutrient solution at 100% strength, I adjusted the tie downs and topped the top two branches. I’m gonna get some stuff to build some 2ftx2ft scrog net frames so I can scrog the shit out of these girls.
Day 50- I gave my girls another .5L of nutrient solution each this morning. I had to turn the light down a bit because it was too intense; I need to figure out a way to raise it up higher but the cables connect to the light a certain way so I can’t just switch out hangers. Until then I’m just gonna have to run the light at about 40% power. I’m having the same issue in the flowering tent but that light is different and I already ordered what I need to solve that issue.
Day 58- Fed this morning first thing at lights on. The canopy on this girl is like super even; hopefully it stays that way. All these girls are growing strong and I’m looking forward seeing how this run turns out.
Day 61- Moved this girl along with her sisters into the big tent yesterday. Fed this morning with a little more nutrient solution than usual.
Day 64- Man I suck at taking photos lol this girl is doin good though. I’m gonna buy what I need for a scrog frame tonight and build it tomorrow. I’ll update as soon as I get it installed. Gave her straight water today to let her suck up some of the built up nutrients in the soil.
Day 67- I didn’t check on these girls first thing in the morning like I usually do, which turned out to be a mistake. This one and the g13 were definitely in need of some water so I watered them all before I put the scrog net over em. Next feeding I’ll start giving them nutrients again.
Day 72- Did some trimming on these girls yesterday to clean up the lower branches and let some light into other areas. This girl is lookin very healthy and I’m lookin forward to seeing how wide I can spread her out. I’m gonna try to train her so that she won’t need any help supporting big buds.
Day 77- The top 2 branches had already been topped some weeks ago so I just topped the middle 2 branches last night. Hopefully that gets the 2 bottom branches moving plus all the other undergrowth.
Day 79- I think these girls have healed up after the topping so in a few days I’m gonna switch the light cycle to 12-12 so they’ll start flowering by the end of the week. I can’t wait to see how much this one and the g13 haze stretch.
Day 86- I started the day with 1L of nutrient solution. This girl is the most vibrant plant in the tent. I did some tucking of branches as well. I changed the light schedule to 12-12 and they’ve started showing their sex but they’re not flowering yet.
Day 92- This girl is gonna be bad ass when all these bud sites start popping up. I moved it a bit and did a bunch of tucking. As she stretches more I’ll be able to do some more tucking to make sure she really focuses on bud sites and branch strength.
