Growin these freebies, hoping they both sprout. I’m lookin forward to seeing how these girls grow. I expect them to get pretty big so I’m definitely gonna be doing some lst to keep their height in check.
Both of em popped so we’re lookin good. As soon as they open up I’ll start the next week at day 1.
Day 1- Both G13 seeds popped but one is growing a little fucked up, we’ll see how this thing develops over the next couple of weeks. At the end of week 2 I’ll be transplanting into with 5 or 7 gallon pots.
Day 6- The fucked up one is growing slow as hell, hopefully it still turns out to be a decent plant. The other one is doing well though and I expect to get some dank buds from her.
Day 8- The good seedling is developing at a good pace while the fucked up one is still developing very slowly but it is making a little progress. I might wait until midway through or the end of week 3 to transplant, we’ll see how this week goes.
Day 15- Well at the start of week 3 the G13 is just a little behind the Banana Kush in terms of height but not by much. The mutant is probably just gonna get tossed out, I’m not gonna waste my time with a fucked up plant even though it does seem to be producing some leaves that aren’t so jacked up. I’ll be transplanting at the end of this week.
Day 22- Transplanted the pretty girl into her 5 gallon home and I’m gonna grow gimpy in the solo cup. Fed with a 25% strength nutrient solution along with a topping 2 days after transplant.
Day 30- She’s recovered from the topping but I guess I didn’t quite snip it right and we’ve got a small new growth forming. I had a feeling that was gonna happen; I could tell by the way it was healing up. It’s not a big deal though, just another branch to produce another fat ass bud lol
Day 33- I did some tying down of the top two branches on each plant in this grow after I gave em each about .66L of nutrient solution at 50% strength.
Day 36- This girl is growin strong 💪 gonna be adding in LST where I need it to make these branches nice and sturdy. Same goes for the other 2 growing along with this one I just don’t want to repeat myself in ever journal. Upped the nutrient solution to 50% strength on the last feeding so by the end of this week it’ll be 100%.
Day 43- I gave her .5L of nutrient solution, at 100% strength, first thing this morning. The middle two branches are growing outward very fast so I’m thinking about topping them soon. I can already tell I’m definitely gonna have to control the stretch on this one.
Day 50- This girl is the tallest in the tent now. Gave her .5L of nutrient solution this morning. I topped the middle two branches a few days ago because they were growing pretty fast. A few more weeks and these girls will be ready for the flower tent.
Day 58- Updating a day late because I was out of town yesterday. Gave this girl her .5L of nutrient solution today. I think I might have to top the top 2 branches but we’ll see. The tarded one is back and it’s turned into a good lookin little plant. I’m gonna nurture it a little bit before I throw her in the flower tent.
Day 61- Fed her with a little more nutrient solution than usual this morning. Moved her into the big tent yesterday. This one is stretching quite a bit; gonna be good under the scrog I think.
Day 64- This girl is definitely a lanky one. I feel like she’s gonna take up most of the scrog net but we’ll see. I’m gonna leave the light on 18-6 for at least 1-2 weeks after I put the net over these girls so I can spread em out nice and wide.
Day 67- I built a 4x4 scrog net frame which turned out to be just the right size for the tent. The scrog net was 5x10, so I connected one 5ft side to one edge of the frame and stretched it out over the frame. Then basically wrapped it around the opposite side of the frame stretched it across and pulled it tight. It was kinda tricky but I made it work.
Day 72- This one is doing very well and has a very skunky smell to it. I can tell I’m gonna have to keep tucking branches in the first couple weeks of flower. I’m probably gonna take a couple of clones from this one to see if I can cross em with the green crack x blue dream seeds if I can.
Day 77- I let those top 2 branches spread out pretty far before topping both of them last night. I think the rest of this plant is about to start booming and I can’t wait to see it.
Day 79- Gave each of these girls about .66L of nutrient solution this morning and this time they didn’t show any signs of overwatering at all. I’m guessing that means they’re absorbing more and more water and nutrients. I’m gonna see how long it takes for them to look like they need water.
Day 86- I’m not too sure whether this one is doing it’s best or not, it’s hard to tell. The leaves aren’t drooping but they don’t stand up either. It also seems like the new growth at the tops of the branches points away from the light. It makes me feel like the light is too bright but I could just be overthinking it. She’s still progressing though. I gave her 1L of nutrient solution this morning. These girls are definitely starting to drink more.
Day 92- So I knew something seemed off because of how slow these girls were growing. The switch on the timer was turned off so the lights were running 24 hours instead of 12-12. I got it working properly a couple of days ago and now they’re actually getting somewhere. Made some adjustments to where the plants were sitting to maximize the amount of space each plant had to stretch. Watered with 1L of nutrient solution at lights on.
