I just planted directly into my medium which was 75% bio light mix and 25% perlite. I have a 20L fabric pot for the gelato auto I am going to Top, an 11L fabric pot for another gelato but this one will be heavily LST’d and finally my Bubblegum in an an 11L fabric pot which I am going to let grow naturally.
I pre soaked my medium with warm water that had root juice added and the PH was 6.6.
2nd grow Wish me luck
Slow start with these 3 they had their shells stuck on, maybe I didn’t plant deep enough. I used a pipette with a 4ml of warm water and dropped it on each seed shell and let them sit for a couple of days. Luckily all seeds fell off and we’re onto a good start!.
I had decided midway through these guys to start another grow and I have moved these girls to a different area with another grow to live their cycle there. The light they have been moved to is now a 600W HPS.
No training yet as I’m just letting them grow that little bit longer to make sure they’re ready.
It’s become clear my 20L Gelato has
Some form of a leaf mutation as it is completely different to the others.
On day 15 I successfully topped the 20L Gelato, gonna let her recover. I have also heavily LST’d my gelato in 11L I am unable to utilise a SCROG so I am trying to get her canopy as even as possible.
Onto Day 20 I have tied down some branches on the topped gelato just to open herself up abit I am letting her new branches get some growth before I touch them.
I’m quite annoyed as my Gelato 11L which I was doing just heavy LST on decided to hermie on me so I had to destroy the plant unfortunately.
Started to even out my canopy on my Gelato that I have topped and heavily LST’d it, she has loved every bit of it even with some light defoliation.
My bubblegum that I am just letting run natural has a lot of top bud sites but in that same sort of squashed Christmas tree look. I tucked about 5 top fan leaves just to expose some bud sites didn’t want to lose out!
I gave these girls a good spray with bio leaf coat just as a precautionary before they go to properly flower.
