YaverCouk Remarks :
- I calibrated my PH meter today.
- You need air flow in the tent you should leave the exhaust fan on. You don't need to use the carbon filter until you smell it though.
Height of Lamp : 60CM distance from fabric- pot.
Pot : 2 x 18L
RH: I am between 60%- 70% Since its the seedling Stage .
Light Intensity : 30%
Strains : Green Gelato, Fat Banana,
Watering : First misting was plain mineral water. I misted water every time the soil looked dry. I Ph'd the water to 6.5. So i filled my mister with 500ml ph'd water. And I used it on both plants. A few mistings on top of the seed and then a bit around it. The same thing for the second potAnd as the days progress and the soil dries quicker, you increase a bit. The closer you come to veg, the more water you need to mist. At least this was the case with these genetics. I usually watered 2-3 times a day : 8 AM, 18PM and Midnight before sleeping.
Start Time : I started the lights around 15:00.
Update ( 07-06-2021): $
So I got very curious as to whether my seedlings were even doing anything or not.
So i tried to have a look. And that was a big mistake.
I ruined the FAT Banana. Seedlings are very sensitive people. Just so you know.
Update ( 10-06-2021)
So when misting my plants I did not used to de-chlorinate my tap-water. This did not stop the seeds from germinating.
Although now I am going to start boiling my water for 15 minutes to properly de-chlorinate my water.( I added the picture)
The Green Gelato succesfully sprouted I think we are close to the vegetative stage.

YaverCouk 1st week of Veg started.
I turned of one non oscillating fan, and put instead next to the plant an oscillating one. Since I feared 2 non oscillating fans wont do the job.
I also found 2 Fungus Gnats in the substrate last time. I made sure to water over them in the hopes of getting rid them. ( But ofcourse thats not how it works.)
Gonna go to the hydroponics store to get some anti bug sticky cards the yellow ones.
Also I am going to see if I should not buy some bio anti pest treatments for my plant. Like Canna Cure.
Update 13-06-2021:
So I ordered some Canna Cure. And bought some Anti Bug Sticky Cards which I placed on the pots ( check photos).
I also got some advice from a very kind sir to buy some nematodes for my fungus gnats.
Which I also ordered.
I hope I'll be able to solve this issue by using the nematodes. I would have to use it on both my Northern Lights Fabric Pot and My Green Gelato Fabric Pot.
I wonder how those fungus gnats came to be actually. Ill maybe go and research it later on.
I am not planning on feeding my plant any nutrients this week. I am still hesitant whether I should feed it next week. If I see its doing fine. I might not feed it next week either. And just wait and start from week 3 of Vegetation. ( This does not include the Germination week. ) Meaning I started counting from the 1st week of veg excluding the week of Germ.
I also Think Im going to be checking on the Trichomes from week 6 up to week 9 to figure out when I should start flushing. The minute I see the trichomes are Milky, I will commence the flush, this should happen between week 7-8 according to the RQS Datasheet.
Oke so I just learned RQS advertises wet weight for their seeds on their website and not dry weight. Since they advertise 450gram per M2 and 65-75 % of the weight is going to be lost after drying. I decided to aim for between 75 and 100 grams for this plant.
Update 16-06_2021:
I switched the light over to 60% while leaving the the height unchanged.
I also started bottom feeding as of today. It is a really interesting concept and it seems to work 2.
I am using around 1.5L to 2L every 2 -3 days for watering both my plants. My Northern Lights plant, (check other diary) seems off. I might have to let it go...
Update ( 19-06_2021)
I had to get rid of the Northern Lights plant. So now all the light is for my sweet Gelato.
The plant is still going strong without any added nutrients at all, the soil is providing for the plant fine. Canna soil seems to be performing well.
I am still waiting on my nematodes to apply them to my soil.
Although I can say that I barely seem to find any of them anymore, every since I incread the fan speed in my tent. ( Thanks Canucks Grow)
Today I used Canna Cure for the First time, I diluted it by using 85ml Water and 35ml Canna, Its not the ideal proportion. They say to add 1L of Water for every 330ml and once prepared you would have to use it within 10 days. I ofcourse did not need 1.3L worth of Canna Cure thats why I used the 85ml of dechlorinated water ( not ph'd) to 27.5ml of Canna cure ratio. Unfortunately it ended up being 80ml to 35ml of Cannna cure, I hope it still works out, Next time i'll try to have the math done perfectly.
I also increased Lighting Intensity towards around 80%.
And I increased the power of my Inline Fan to the 60-70% range.
I am considering whether I should buy an Airco or Aircooler to cool down my tent because. I don't like the fact that my temperatures are reaching 33° Celcius or around 94° Fahrenheit. High temperatures cause slow Growth.
Any Tips are welcome.
I also lowered the RH to around 60-65 procent.
Soil Used: Canna Terra Proffesional Plus Nutrients I am planning on using : Canna Vega and Canna Flores and Rhizotonic.
This is my first week of veg, should I follow the feeding schedule as show in the pic above? Or should I already start using the Nutrients?
What is an average yield I should expect out of my current setup? I know genetics play a large part in this, thats why Im only asking for an educated guess.
YaverCouk SWeek 2 of VEG has officially started.
Lets see if this is the week to start feeding her.
Update ( 21)-06_2021)
I added today 1ML of Rhizotonic to 1L of Water to spur some growth for the Roots and then I ph'd it to the correct lvl's ofcourse. I am starting to think about LST. Might be soon
Update (22-06-2021)
Every watering the ph of the water pump sprayer should be checked.
It can change real quick.
Today I added around 1.5ml of Rhizotonic and 1.5ml of Terra Vega to 3L dechlorinated Tap Water;.
I wanted to start LST, but after questioning Reddit a bit they informed me that I should wait till I have 2-3 nodes. At the moment she is still a bit too small.

YaverCouk Update This is the 3rd week of vegetation starting.
And I already have a few adventure stories to tell you.
I used the nematodes, but I probably over watered. (Next time just add the Nematodes with the amount of PH balanced water that you were planning on giving instead of messing around with the water amount and no need for nutrients either with the nematodes..
I let her dry up for 2 complete days.
Afterwards I gave her only PH'd balanced Water. Since I feared a nutrient burn. But now I am close to changing my mind on that, I am thinking it might be its either Leaf Septoria which is a Fungus or its a nutrient deficiency so I might restart the feeding.
28-06-2021 Update ;
I fed her 3ml of nutrients for 1l of water. And I gave her exactly 1 liter of nutrient filled food.
1ml Cannazym
1ml Rhizotonic
1.ml Terra Vega
29-06-2021
The yellow spots on my plant are showing up again. I had to defoliate a few leaves.
She immediately showed me she was not happy.
I am starting to think it is more of a calcium deficiency then the Yellow leaf fungus ( I initially thought it was the fungus that's why I defoliated a few leaves.
30-06-2021 Update:
Gave here today a
Watering of 1 L without nutrients, PH adjusted ofcourse.
Today I bought CALMAG and I mixed 1ml of CALMAG with 1L of Water.
But I made a crucial Mistake. ( I did not Ph the water...) Its probably out of range.
So the effects of this is probably that my defficiency will get worse. Lets hope not, but I am still going to let her dry out a bit before rewatering. Definitely don't want to overdo it with the water.
Update 03-07-2021
It ended up not being so bad although I did start notice some leaf tips burning.
I gave her 1.5ml Terra vega plus 1ml of ATA calmag at 6.2 ph for 2L water . I lowered my dosis of nutq cause I am thinking its still possible I might be suffering from nut burn instead of call mag deficiency or Leaf Sceptoria.
Week 3 is a special week for me. Honestly what a week. I hope next week will be calmer. :) Anyhow I learned a ton.

YaverCouk Start of Week 4 0 of Veg :) Date of Today : 03-07-2021
I am pretty sure I am suffering from nute burn, So I am going to lay off the nuts today and tommorow Im just gonna feed ph'd balanced water I the the cause of my last few issues is underestimating how much nuts there can be in Canna Proffesional Plus, The next nut feeding will probably be the 06th of July 2021 aroud midnight.
Update 07-07-2021:
I defoliated and pruned my girl, meaning I removed a few leafs I deamed unneccesary.
I fed her 2L of ph'd water with approx 1ml of Terra Vegga nuts. Meaning 1ml per 2LWater = 0.5ml of Terra Vega per 1L water .
Next Water feeding is for the 9th and the next feeding will be a nut feeding and that should take place on the 11th of July
Dear friend, you are growing very good this plant.
It doesn't seems like that it is your first grow! You're good!
Remember: it will be always something to learn!
Sweet hug and good luck, 🍀❤️
