Started well, nothing much to report for now.
Added an extra amount of perlite as compared to my other two grows. They take a while to dry.
Threw in a couple of CFL's for good measure, she seems to like them.
No signs of stress from the LST, let's see how she grows.
Coming along well, I removed the metal peg that I was using as it was rubbing against the plant, causing a slight abrasion. Now using rubber covered wire instead.
Day 29, tied the main stem down for the final time. She's a little battle hardened, and could use some more light.
I've ordered a second ts600, hopefully it arrives soon.
Arrived on day 32, nice and fast! Installed it immediately and removed those crappy Blurples.
Did some light defoliation, so the light can reach the new shoots (day 30).
Starting to pick up the pace now, after a sluggish period.
Day 40/41, really taking advantage of the extra light, growing at a fast rate now.
I'd have expected to see some pistils this week, but the LST may have stressed her a bit, so I'm probably a week behind expectations.
A blessing in disguise, as it affords me more time to tie some side branches down/sideways.
Day 41, took off 4 leaves as I remembered that I was to be more adventurous on my second grow. Glad I did as they were blocking most of the branches, and as she hasn't started to flower, there's still time to grow.
Grew a lot over the past week, finally seeing some pistils. Glad my other plant is almost done, because this one's gonna need all the space when it flowers.
My fears about defoliation have been laid to rest after watching this one grow like crazy after a few trims. It has, however, delayed the flowering quite considerably (no other diaries of this strain to compare). I'll use this as an opportunity to do some more LST, once that's done I won't touch her apart from feeding.
Looks like one more week of veg as pistils slowly appear.
A little droopy on the first day of the week, after one last LST and defoliation session. I'll feed/water twice a day at 400ml instead of once a day at 500ml-1L.
Day 63: put a fan on the pot, I think she's not getting enough oxygen, my last plant also went droopy at the same stage, they share LSD genetics.
After aiming a fan at the pot, the plant has perked right up and growing fast.
Lots of bud sites forming, although my LST skills could use some work
She's a funny old shape but will have the tent to herself soon enough.
She now has the tent to herself, so I'll fiddle around with the lighting asap.
Grew 10cm last week and flowering nicely, I'm taking two or three small shoots from the lower branches each day. I'm sick of the time it takes to harvest fluffy junk.
Buds coming thick and fast now.
I'll stick to the nutrient levels from last week, slightly higher than my last grow, no issues so far.
Looking like a Sativa dominant strain or phenotype, but the buds have a more Indica look. Pretty cool, look forward to seeing how she ends up.
Really pleased with this one's progress.
It's grown far bigger than I'd thought possible in a 3L pot, nice clearly defined bud sites with a mighty main cola (that's what she said)
On the home stretch now, pistils withdrawing, frosting up nicely.
Probably another two weeks, maybe less.
Should definitely yield more than my first indoor run, which is good because it'll be my last grow for the season. Summers on it's way, a tent in a shed won't work in the Australian sun.
Smelling lovely, fattened up nicely too. Feels like some good weight to the buds so fingers crossed for a decent yield.
Leaves started yellowing a couple of days ago, so it's not too long now.
Going hard on the Rock Resinator at 6ml/L, no problems at all, sucks it all up, definitely my frostiest grow so far.
A bit of amber here and there, but not alot. I'm thinking a week away from harvest, maybe less.
Leaves yellowing faster and the smell is, as the kids say, "dank".
She's ready, I'll begin a sequential harvest tomorrow. It'll be too hot outside soon, so I want to maximise my final harvest for the year, looks like it'll be the best of the bunch as it's the frostiest plant I've grown. Thanks Rock Resinator!
I don't flush because, well, it's illogical.
Day 121, hatvested main cola, might get close to 1 Oz from that alone!
Took longer than most autos to start flowering, partly due to lst and defoliation, I imagine. Once she got going, she really took off.
Very receptive to nutrients, loved the Rock Resinator, ate up as much as I could give. Nice chunky, defined buds, I couldn't have asked for more.
Considering the main cola has already been chopped, I didn't expect this much in the final chop. Going hard on the Rock Resinator really paid off, as did the extra ts600 (one won't get big buds). Was hoping for 2 Oz, I'll report back in a week.
