Day 1/June 3rd : Initially dropped in cube at 75.2 F 60 RH
Temp : 75-95 F
RH : 40-60 %
Day 5/June 8th : Filled up bucket at 10pm for chlorine to disperse : Calibrated PH pen with given powder
Day 7 : little guy is growing
7am - mixed in nutes at 1/2 strength; 9 ml/g (total) each of grow & micro
8pm - turned on bubbler and transplanted the rockwool to the bucket.
fan not on yet.
note: may have broke a small piece of the root while transplanting :(
10 shots of 3ml needle of all base
2 splashes of ph down
removed 1.24 L of nute solution when I realized I put too much nutes topped off with tap.
June 21 | Added 6ml of Hydroguard as I was beginning to see possible root rot. A day in and it seems to be working.
June 22 | Did some minor LST. Added wet towel to increase humidity to at least 50 percent.
July 7 - Had a lot of problems this week. Possibly put too much nutes, so details here are for the mini flush I’m doing right now. Unfortunately this happened to start at early signs of pre flower. Next update will be when I switch reservoir and give more bloom nutes.
Possible nute lockout rn.
Wish me luck.
June 8: slowly adding back nutes. Added 6ml of bloom into the Reservoir
Finally caught up to the weeks, been very busy.
Note to self to create an easier way to change out the reservoir while plant is bigger. Currently only changing out about a gallon of water every couple days, due to fear of snapping one of the branches.
She is feeding much more heavily.
Roots are large enough to keep a gap between the lid in the water.
@Captainonthego, that sounds wonderfully efficient. My setup is much more simple as it’s my first grow and still learning my way around. It’s a basic DWC. Got a 5 gal bucket, painted it black and got a black lid with a mesh drop.
The plant lives in clay pebbles with the roots extending to the bucket. I have a pump with two tubes connected to air stones in the reservoir. Might experiment with automating the water level but that takes lots of space, which I’m currently limited in. Your setup is sweet tho!
@jellyfishconsciousness,
Bubbleponics is a term I've seen using a 5 gallon bucket with an aerator and stead of using a circulation system. Generally seen with a sight sight tube on side to check water level. I used that system and added circulation by putting a tee in the sight glass at the level I want the water, from the tee a drain line running to a reservoir that pumps to my top feeds making a circulation system. Curious about your setup.
