Northern_Ent It’s been very hot as we’re in the middle of a heat wave. A week forecast >32 C only five weeks after we had five nights at or below 0 C. Anyway these Critical + Autos seem to be very fast growers. The first one has struggled at times but I think it’s going now, and this younger one is off to a fast start. June 29: topped.

Northern_Ent July 8: she grew 3 inches overnight (!!!). July 9: hilariously fast growing (another 3 inches overnight) but 11 inches between nodes seems like a bit much. July 14: she grew 14 inches in a week. The growth of the two Critical + is as described by PEV seeds, except mine is way taller than I expected.

Northern_Ent July 18: now 50 inches tall by Day 39. The other Critical + reached 50 inches at 65 days (which I thought was pretty fast) and is now 73 inches (6’3”) at Day 76. These Critical + plants certainly grow tall very quickly.

Northern_Ent July 26: she’s tall and skinny like the other Critical + which is derived from Critical Bilbao which is tall and skinny. That is a very famous strain so I’m interested to see how this turns out.

Northern_Ent Well this strain is now 2 for 2. Two feminized seeds started about five weeks apart both turned out to be super tall straight males. If regular seeds I think the odds of two males on two tries is 25%. If 1% of feminized seeds turn up as males the odds are 1 in 10,000 (0.01x0.01). So take your pick. It might be that they hermied due to environmental stress, but none of the other plants did. I think I got regular seeds and got two males on two tries. C’est la vie. Shit happens.
