The goal is to self this Runtz Auto and collect some pollen while I'm at it for a couple crosses. 💪👍 For this project I will be using home mixed STS (silver thiosulfate). I have batches ready to mix in my fridge. Just used it on green crack check out my other diary "perpetual grow" week 8-9 flower for some seed porn!
Germinated and let it grow a bit much it had already shed it's she'll trying to sprout. Planted it relatively close to the surface. Gave some ph'd water.
The soil is amended with NLS and with perlite in the bottom for drainage.
I may top in the next few weeks and pin this girl down after a transplant. I'll prob move this one to the middle of the newest row if my other runts doesn't sprout. The plant right now is to wait until prob day 20 and take a cutting reverse that and pollinate mom. I need a thick branch to make sure it works. I also have clonex and rooting pods.
I've tried before and you can root a cutting of an auto and reverse it for pollen. I want to save and harvest the plant still and I can't do that if I spray a branch still connected with STS. So I figure why not root one?

Took a cutting and topped it cutting looks rough but I think I cut too early. I'm also getting greedy and I tried to room one of the smaller branches. I'll have to take another one this weekend. A larger branch.

Sts solution home made. Expecting pollen sacs soon. This will be the second spray and I'm just starting to see pre flowers on her so great timing on that. Prob going to move some plants around to help prevent unwanted pollination.

Added some soil and flower girl 3-9-4 to the soil watering regularly and spraying with STS every 3-5 days now. Starting to see the forming of TINY TINY pollen sacs.
I finally divided the tents. My 4x4 will have my perpetual grow. I decided to start my autos out in 1 gal and then transplant. That should buy me enough time to veg out the sprouts and let the oldest row finish to harvest. I attached a pic. I tried to use the ppfd chart of the mars light and offset it a bit while hanging it.
Edit update 8/19 I see balls! I mean pollen sacs. They are really growing fast now! Thank the ganja gods! For a little bit I thought my sts had gone bad and I wouldn't get any pollen! But nope just had to be patient! Wooooooohhhhh!!!!!

Kept spraying, soaking the bud sites every 3-5 days let it dry outside the tent before I put it back in.
Imma keep spraying. Some early pollen sacs are opening but I don't see any seeds forming yet so they were prob empty. Still waiting.

Definitely seeded. the whole plant is making seeds just waiting for it to finish it's life cycle. I'm continuing to feed it normal flower nutes. I added a couple teas as well to bump the N.
