Early days in an annual ritual...... 🙏🙏🙏 Seeds direct from old-timer local grower. Spent a New year harvest with a family friend in Nakhon Phanom up in North East TH near Laos & the Mekong River, they gifted me hundreds of seeds of each of the three strains. They had mostly managed to keep from X ing by pulling the males early and paying a few kids with a mag glass to run round spotting them but pollen travels KMs so must have occoured at some point. Its a short squat plant unlike native Sativa with thick stems and side branches which take well to training. Sure theres Indica traits in there as she reeks all through flowering which can be 16 weeks loooooong... Yeah I know, but yeilds are second to none, not going to sat much more, we can watch it unfold and grow together. Something a bit different I hope...🙏 😎 💪

Hi all, really hot & humid here at the mo and afternoons are relentless in the direct sun but they still go a node per day after coming back from a little gentle LST and topping to flatten the final shape so multiple "main" kolas develop with equally perfect light exposure... 🙏 💪 👌

Feed lightly would be the biggest tip. Tie her down and train branches early would be another. And the most important tip - as she will flower long, slow and late, consider very carefully where you place her so that she is getting the most amount of sun in October/November when she is finishing the flowering cycle. I have found feeding quarter to half strength (max!) nutrients the way to go. Feeding quarter strength every 2 weeks or so seems to be much much better than heavy feeding once in a while. A constant gentle trickle of nutrients is the go. Do not use bat guano at any strength greater than 10% of recommended dilution rate. Worm castings, compost, compost teas and well broken down chook poo are all excellent supplements. A handful of blood/bone meal and some volcanic rock dust/mineral mix also help. When it comes to flowering, adding a P/K booster at half strength and twice as long between recommended application rates is plenty enough. The other biggie - patience, patience, patience! Flowering will be long and slow, so be prepared to wait. Giving too much nitrogen will just cause excessive leafy flowers, so gently, gently is the go. I can not stress how important gentle feeding is and to not push her along with big feeds, which will only burn. Pale leaves are normal too, not an indication of any type of deficiency. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Uneventful week, rains not so heavy but high Rh. I have removed and cloned the four lowest side braches from the big one as she is a creeper and will re-root (anchor & Nuts) if she can reaches a viable rooting medium. Still have another if anyone want to see Satalite re-rooting, you can guess what happens when the new point/root/node is topped....... let me know... Peace

You can try regrafting, use some duct tape and the works, it might work although slim chances. If you have Clonex you could root it, but keep in mind they should start flowering any time now. I know it's tough and feels like shit, but it happens. I've broken quite a few, some turned well some not. Had to learn to accept and forgive my mistakes and concentrate on the plant at hand. Is where the true potential lies....

Hi All, Hope all is going well in your gardens! This little lady has exploded since the accident which ended in her having a split main stem that I regrafted by binding together. I did maybe notice a few slow days but not any high stress stunting you might expect from a major injury to the plant. I beliive this is partly due to the plant being one of the strongest Ive seen and its also in almost optimum conditions for its particular strain due to locallity. Strong but hollow stems little bit flat which I think is a Pakistani trait maybe wrong,,, bad mem these days... lol :) The leaves are 11 fingers and the size of dinner plates sorry for some crap pics..... citrus is the smell you get from touching the resin already on the stem. post more soon...

Well all, this is nature.... ITYS A BOY!!! yayy... nah If ya don't clone em early and force flower sex em ya get boys!!!! for me that is part of a journey that is mine.. im so cool with it beacause; everything has a possitive side.. - We give to the local temple for monks to pass on the real old folk who are still scared to grow for medicine as their ancestors did before them regardless of what medicinal properties it may contain it is still sustenance, like salad in my view. Today I hope a few people I dont know and will never meet have something that they didnt expect today, if it may brighten their day in some minute, miniscule way and it has cost me absolutely nothing at all. We not done yet going to update whats remaining pics. Plenty. UPDATED: Can anyone help sex the latest pics plase... Peace & Love #S.M.F

Are we looking at the same plant? The first pic looks like it could be a male. But you can be surprised by a weird bract too. Need better pictures. I never wait until they get this far. I buy kits from farmerfreeman xy. For each they sex my plants at like week 2. Saves time, money, and the doubt….

HI all, firstly thanks to everyone for your support, interest and interaction in my basic diaries. WE GOT ONE!!!!!!!! No ghosts but a HERMIE just as i thought... left too long without feed in the rain and floods with no proper drainage... hungry for P-K and serious iron deficiency. Ive stripped out most of the hermie branches but there is little hope... no bananas/pollen sacks visible, like it has "selfed"...... The other strain plants are just starting to flower so hoping for a little outdoor sweetness..... SMF 🙏 👊 🙏

Hello all, as predicted these have a propencity to HERM... stilll loaded with trics though. I give them out to various older people in the locallity who have a renewed interest in the medicinal value of cannabis after many years of oppressive propaganda convincing poorly educated people that cannabis/THC/CBD is on par with methamphetamine's in terms of social effect and contribution to disparity. 👊 👌 👊 sorry lazy with the grammar and elogated sentences! Hi all......Yeah we still here with the heirloom/landrace..... land-race LOL absolutely nothing race like about these girls) 😂 😂 😂 😜 😎 So im just feeding aero poo tea once a week here, very unscientific. There are 3 different squirrel tails remaining. Plus +++ A "Darkhorse" photo p clone from a friends 3rd go at breeding took a while and just an basically first Filial Bx with the P1 =F2... Never seen so many clones root so easily, over 90%. Had smokes from last F1s was very strong and suprizingly heavy for a Sativa dom so many phenos expressing may need more Bx to stab. Shea always been in the diary pics but Ill label photos now... Love & Positivity to all here. S.M.F 🙏🙏🙏😎

Hi all same old same old... these SE Asian sativas litterally have a mind of their own and mature at their own pace and wont be hurried by no one or risk the herm at your own peril.... 😎 Check out the Carpenter Bee..... amazingly industrious and agressively terratorial... buzzes me constantly and Ive heard they FCUKIN sting like a Asian Hornet... Thing is, Ive been there all season and she still only warns me and I dont mess with her place. Now this is an insect, all you nature fans know what Im saying. There is a weird understanding between me and the insect. This for me brings an inner peace and trancends everything, the kicker is that its available to all. fcuk off all your IG & FB.... to be clear Peace & Love S.M.F 🙏 🙏 🙏

I dont post all my plants to there are a few more all at the same stage.... getting chopped soon... been growing this genetic line for 13 yerars and it always smashes me up for a sativa... For me its not a morning or daytime sativa.... has the indica cat piss smell..

sailormoonflowerscommented3 years ago
@Cyrusdavirus, thats great info thank you mate. Ive been growing from this geo local line for 12 years now. Think they have a recessive traits they have a much higher incidence of herm every F or gen.. the seeds from a herm plant tend not to herm the next season when I force a plant to "self" it herms next time 👍 👊 👌 🙏
Cyrusdavirus
Cyrusdaviruscommented3 years ago
@sailormoonflowers, sativa are naturally a more airy bud that's what made them want to cross them with the indica and indica are naturally a more compact plant with smaller dense buds that's what made them want to cross them with sativa lol or it was a mistake in the field and they liked them crossed lol either way it's nice to grow the pure/landrace strains but there's definitely an advantage to the cross breed strains.... enjoy them, sativa IMHO is the way to go I always liked the high much better

sailormoonflowers
sailormoonflowerscommented4 years ago
Absolutely spot on @Med_in_Tropic... smart fella, its just self propagation if you allow it or can encourage it of course. Air layering propagation is the method used for plants that are difficult to root from clones/cuttings. are you a knowledge hound like me?? LOL do my lime trees that way... ill post a current lime tree propagation pic above in diary pics, thanks dude...
