First Grow (Blue Slushie)

Started germination of 5 seeds at 6pm Saturday 6/12. 24 hours in jar of water and then damp paper towel. 3/5 seeds had sprouted ~0.5in roots Monday morning at 6am. These three were planted in Coast of Maine sprouts mix and put under a ChilLED mini x3, min power 4ft high. The fourth and fifth seeds were kept in the damp paper towel. On Tuesday (6/15) the fourth seed had grown a root and was planted. On Thursday (6/16) the fifth seed had germinated and was planted. On Thursday (6/16) the first three plants broke ground. On Friday (6/17) these three sprouts were stretching long towards the lights. Friday afternoon, plants were moved closer to the light (31"), and lights were increased to max output 200W. Fan was also put more directly on stems to encourage strengthening. On Saturday (6/18), this had stopped the stretching-- there was no observable gain in height on any plant. On Sunday (6/19), the fourth and fifth seedlings broke ground, and did not stretch irregularly. The first three seedlings have true leaves that are now noticeably growing outward. ~30inches height, max power seems to be a good light distance/power for the ChilLED Mini x3 on seedlings.
