"I plan to increase the lights' intensity to 50% this week. Currently, the plants are young, so the nutrients are fine. However, I will prepare a new vegetative mix for later this week. Seed 4 has sprouted and is showing signs of life." Looking at the plants I have a mixture, one looks like the Zittles Amnesia I had from my last crop.
All is going fairly well. I changed the nutrients to include Boost and Canazym and upped the base nutrient mix. I decided it was time for FIMing on three of the plants, so I did a bit of defoliation and LST to enable all branches to get better light. You can see in the pictures before and after Fiming and the following day. Plants are looking healthy apart from one which is again the runt of the litter
Interesting week. The PH has been tricky to keep stable; I noticed this last time in the Veg stage this was happening. I will be keeping a very close eye on this.
I'm still trying to find out what plant one is as I've never had a lime green plant before; I knew it was not because of nutrients and growing conditions as all the other plants look healthy and have a beautiful darker green colour. It's also starting to dwarf the other plants.
Plants two and three are doing well. I need to train plant three a bit more and defoliate it soon before the imminent flowering stage.
Plant Four is now starting to look good, although a good one/two weeks behind the others its looking really healthy.
Next weekend should be change out all the nutrients for the flowering stage.
What a week! I changed the nutrients in my flowering mix and spent much time training and defoliating. Plants one and two started to flower earlier this week, with three following this weekend. I've used many more ties this time to train the plants better and hopefully increase the yield. And I tried to be a bit more brutal with the defoliation as they will have to be left for a few weeks before I can even think about that again now we are in the flowering stage.
As the nutrient mixture has now changed, I hope the pH will be more stable, as it was in previous grows when I changed to the flowering mix.
I'm still fascinated to know what the lime green plant is, as I've never seen this colour before in any of my grows.
All in all a great week the plants have developed well, and besides pH issues this is quite a easy grow.
These beauties drank 25 lts of the nutrient mix last week. Halfway through the week, I gave all of them good defoliation and turned the lights down to 50% for 24 hours; this gave me some great bud shoots climbing for the light and kept the plants distressed. PH has pretty much stabilised now due to the amount of new nutrient mix being added every day. It's going to be an interesting harvest, as they will all be ready a different times.
Just to give you an idea so far this grow has cost me AUD 77 in electricity and AUD 200 in nutrient mix.
The girls are getting really thirsty this week, guzzling down 40 liters of nutrient mix like it's the last cocktail at a garden party.
Plant One is showing off its glamorous purple buds, growing in size and looking almost too perfect. Pretty sure this diva is a Purple Punch variety, ready for its close-up!
Plant Two has hit a growth spurt, shooting up over 90 cm with black and purple berry-sized buds decorating it like a botanical Christmas tree. Fingers crossed this beauty is an LSD-25 Auto!
Plant Three is joining the growth parade, bursting with flowers and flaunting its health like a gym enthusiast after a protein shake.
Plant Four is the late bloomer of the group, taking its sweet time but still looking fabulous.
This week, I gave the girls a stylish trim to let the light shine through their fast-growing foliage. All in all, it’s been an uneventful week, and I’m thrilled with their progress. Keep it up, ladies!
Once again, the girls chugged down another 40 litres of nutrient mix like it was happy hour!
**Plant One** is giving us a sneak peek of the grand finale, with pistils turning a fashionable orange. Almost ready for its big debut!
**Plant Two** has decided that one meter is the perfect height for its blossoming career, with black buds transforming into a stunning visual masterpiece.
**Plant Three** is sprouting flower sites like it's hosting a garden party, inviting more blooms by the day.
**Plant Four** is just taking its sweet time, plodding along at its own leisurely pace.
This week was pretty chill on the gardening front. Now, it's just a waiting game for Plants One and Two to be ready for their harvest close-up!
The girls are still guzzling down nutrient mix like it's a garden rave, which is a fantastic sign! They're staying hydrated and loving every drop!
Plant One is flaunting a sea of orange pistils, hugging the buds like they're at a floral family reunion. The trichomes are getting cloudy, signalling it's almost showtime—maybe one more week, and she'll be ready for the grand harvest!
Plant Two is strutting its stuff, with buds growing in length and mass, all decked out in a sparkling sugar coating. It’s like they're getting ready for a glittery red carpet-event!
Plant Three is in a fierce space battle, flaunting an abundance of bud sites with white pistils sticking up like an 80s punk band. It's rocking the rebellious look and will probably need another three weeks to finish its performance!
Plant Four, well, there's not much to say about this one. It's the late bloomer of the group, taking its sweet time like it's on a leisurely stroll in the park. Fashionably late, as they say!
Aside from topping up their nutrients, I didn't have to do much this week. It was smooth sailing in the garden!
Finally, after three days on a strict water-only diet, plant one decided to grace us with its bounty. It gifted us a solid 200 grams of wet, fully trimmed bud—only took a mere four hours of blood, sweat, and tears. Now it's chilling in the drying rack, probably thinking it's done all the hard work.
Meanwhile:
Plant two had a sneak preview earlier this week. I plucked a bud, let it dry, and tested it while wrestling with plant one. (Two birds, one stone, right?) It looks like plant two's big day is coming next weekend.
Plant three is living its best life, basking in the extra space. The buds are already looking promising; just need to wait for them to hit the gym and bulk up.
Plant four, the slow and steady type, is doing its own thing and looking ridiculously healthy. I give it another 3 to 4 weeks before it decides it's showtime.
All in all, it's been a stellar week. The crop is looking big and strong, and I'm starting to feel like a proud plant parent!
I’ve just finished harvesting plant two, and it's now hanging out in the racks, drying like it's on a tropical vacation. It only took me nearly 12 hours of hard labor, but who’s counting?
Now, plant two was a marathon harvest! I felt like I was trapped in an endless loop of cutting and trimming. But those buds? Wow! They’re like the prom kings and queens of the bud world. I’ve got just under 800 grams of wet-trimmed perfection, plus enough sugar leaves to make gummies for an entire gummy-loving village.
With these two out of the tent, I’ve finally got some breathing room to rearrange the remaining plants. It’s like a botanical version of Tetris in there.
Plant three is a real show-off. Now that I can see it properly, it looks incredible. Those buds are practically screaming, “Look at me!” They should be ready next week, and of course, there’s no rest for the wicked.
As for plant four, it’s still taking its sweet time, but looking good. It's like the plant version of a fashionably late guest—worth the wait!
