Flowers are forming. A watering on Wednesday 7/28 (Day 31) and a tremendous growth spurt are this week's highlights. 16" to 28" in one week. I placed a metal support pole in the soil near the side of the pot and tethered the plant to it with a bendable rubber plant tie. The plant was leaning to one side, so I wanted to take some stress off the roots and prevent it from possibly falling. Going to have to move the light and plant within the grow tent next week, as I've run out of room to raise the light any higher beneath the exhaust fan. Sliding the support rod from which the light hangs will bring the light past the end of the exhaust fan, closer to the tent side, and make it possible to raise the light as high as this plant will ever need.
Very nice ๐
Hope she grow well ๐๐ค
I have a question, how much your electricity bill with that led?
Iโm thinking change HPS To LED
Thanks, appreciate any help
@tricombo420, Thanks! Good question about the light. This is a new light for me, so I'll do some number crunching and get back to you on that in the next day or two.
***Edit: The light's draw is 100 watts. I found a U.S. Dept. of Energy electricity cost calculator that gives an eighty-day germination-to-harvest cost (at 18 hours light on per day) of $17.28. If I leave the light on 20 hours per day, the cost will be $19.20. At 24 hours, $23.04. Here's a link to the calculator: https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/maps/appliance-energy-calculator
