This week was a normal week just allowing them to grow while also using the netting to stretch them out a bit while allowing the lower growth to catch up. I did finally find the information on the feeding with the nutes I am using seeing as on the bag it wasn't descriptive enough, so as it turns out I have been over feeding my ladies π . They seem to be fine as I wasn't that far off from what I should have been feeding them. I have also found some really beautiful pre flower sites so they are definitely rounding to maturity and ready to be flipped. These next 2 to 3 weeks will be getting them prepared for their flower phase. Like I said nothing too far off just a little lower defoliation.
Until next week grow fam, happy growing π€πΎπ€πΎπ€πΎ
@SleeplessWalker, I don't plan on using chemical nutes with my ladies if I can help it I will stick to soil amendments. And yes that is soil but only a part of the soils final composition. I will thanks fam π€π€π€
@Ladysgrow2, yes pre flower. Popular misconception is that you can't tell what a plant is going to be , male or female, until flower. Well you can actually find out in veg from 4 to 6 weeks in veg. If you know where to look it can save you a bit of time and save you from seeding a harvest.
Good Luck I had issues with them being a bit stringy I brought the light closer to them and it seemed to work I'm going on week 4 they are finally looking good I haven't used Nutrients yet I will this coming week the Fox Far Trio
@JamMAKEcan, it is a challenge Indeed but I do like a challenge. A lot of my research is learning as much as I can about the strain that I can, because we can control the environment so much growing indoors, I want to mimic its best growing environment that I can. There are a few more things I need for my tent to be where I want it. I also read about soils and the interactions with the plant(roots). These are my first two ladies. Since we are both green in this endeavor, an exchange of knowledge is is always beneficial for both individuals I look forward to it π€πΎπ€πΎπ€πΎ
@Twrecksshyt,.... Feel free to pass on any of your research knowledge it will be honored... Im a rookie on the indoor under controlled environment.. It's not as easy as it looks . but easy to learn challenge to master
@Thaiclee, from my early research of this strain I was under the impression that they were going to want to grow tall, so to combat that I topped them twice and used two levels of netting to fill out my tent, allow for lower growth to catch up and to better control the upward growth. So there were a few reasons, my next grow with scrog will hopefully be a better attempt because this time I have the nets I want
@Twrecksshyt,
Itβs mine too. Thatβs why I tried it my first grow.
Now Iβm on to two kinds of clones. I had a friend surprise me with a few free clones. So I guess Iβm doing that now. Lol
My first scrog, I went with the one level of netting. What made you want to do the two levels? Iβm interested.
