HeyLookImOnFire Nutrients are spread out into 3 separate waterings plus a foliar feeding.
Light schedule is 18 hours on total but timed like 6 on, 2 off and repeated. This is done partially to manage heat but also because it helps create explosive growth in Veg. Calculated DLI is currently ~20 moles/day.
Starting tomorrow, they’ll also be getting classical Indian and western music for 5 hours a day.

HeyLookImOnFire The first couple weeks of veg are still showing strong growth despite transplant shock. It looks like the tops grew 4~5 inches but I just bent them back down.
I’m using CannaTie soft ties for the SCROG and if you’ve never seen it before, you should check them out. (Medical grade steel, antifungal and antimicrobial, and freaking lasts forever.) My plan is to top heavily when I do other HST and turn the plants from about 8 tops each into 16. This makes the second trellis even more important for making sure they all grow evenly.

HeyLookImOnFire Now that the HST and SCROG weaving stress is over, I noticed the nodes were growing in super close together... Too close. So I turned off the Bloom switch and moved the light closer - reducing the DLI from 12 to 9 and the change in spectrum is more white/blue so it will stretch up nicely to the 2nd SCROG. It needs to grow 12-14” and then this tent will be ready to flip. Maybe in about 2 weeks I’ll flip Bloom back on with the UV and then 2 weeks later I’ll move into flowering.
I’m really impressed with the resilience of the stems on this Mae’s cut... They’re spindly compared to every other plant I run but they recover from high stress training in only a few days! She roots very fast as well.
Because of the Bloom switch being on earlier, these plants are now also showing some mild smell. Stem rubbing gives a soft pine and overripe fruit smell.

HeyLookImOnFire The plants are finally running in high gear. Leaves are getting bigger and stacking how I like. I’ve got the LED on full power again.
I change how involved writing down nutrients - I’ll change it to whatever I gave the plants each week.
Despite being a sativa strain, she absolutely brings grows like an indica. Mae’s Cut of Cannatonic is very special... It comes with special rules if you accept a clone of it: You cannot make money off it and if you meet a person in need, you have to give them a clone for free

HeyLookImOnFire Lots of trimming and tight work to do in the 2x2. I also have the tent inside a closet and this makes it very hard to get my watering can where I want it. (The low sorting SCROG also gets in the way a bit.)
However, the two plants are starting to look like how i like them. Extra time spent rubbing stems and giving them extra silica is also paying off... This pheno has ridiculously skinny legs!
