Just started this beauty! First time grower. Used the paper towel germination method and planted after about 4 days in roots organic soil. Anyone have any experience or insight they'd like to share?! I'm excited to see the progress. -e

I'm a little early on my week two update. It's been 13 days now. On day ten I switched up the nutrients to Advanced Nutrients. For my first feed I did half the recommended dose (4ml/gal) of the Sensi Grow, and the same for Voodoo Juice. For my next feed I plan on still sticking to a half dose but switching to the Sensi Bloom for the added nitrogen (thanks TaNg). Does anyone have any experience with Voodoo Juice? I'm curious if anyone has used it longer than the recommended, weeks 1&2 of veg and weeks 1&2 of flower? I'm still trying to get better RH. I've been hanging a wet towel just low enough in the tent that the bottom can sit in a pan of water to keep it as wet as possible. But still without turning the extractor fan completely off, I can't seem to get the RH above 55%. I'm wondering if that is what's causing the slight taco shaping of my leaves. Opinions? I did back off on light distance just in case light stress was a factor. Without using anything specifically aimed at adjusting the ph, it has jumped from 6 to 6.9 in about a week. The soil I planted the seed in was watered with a 1/4 dose of Biobizz fish mix, and azos beneficial microbes, that's all. Is it too high for this stage? Any ideas on how can I bring it down? This is a semi organic grow, is it possible the added microbes and bacteria are doing what they're supposed to do, and acting as a buffer for the roots? Thanks for reading and any advice would be awesome guys! Happy Saturday. -e

So watching the progress on the plant has been awesome. I broke down and bought a humidifier the other day to help raise the humidity since I was still struggling with that. I also noticed I had been overwatering a bit so I let the soil dry out. Otherwise it's still growing vigorously, can't wait for the weeks to come! Thanks for looking! -e

Just a few key points from the week. • The pistols shot out 6 days ago, looks ready to start stretching. •noticed issue on 2 older fan leaves, research led me to a potassium deficiency (unless someone see it as something else). Attempted to slightly correct during yesterday's feed. • the xl genetics are allowing for a push in the feedings, we'll see how it turns out. Still loving watching my first grow! -e

Hi lovely set up you have here ! And nice babies... my advice to you is to switch up the air humidity because its to low.. your roots are not properly formed and the humidity helps the plant get stronger eating that humidity water from the leaves. Should be at 50% atleast Are you running in biobizz soil ?

@Doudou, thanks for the information! Seems a little detailed for my first attempts, thinking a humidifier might be the better route this time. I'll totally keep that in mind for future grows though!

@FirstTIMER, u need a long tray, balls clay, u want take pots as big as yours and cut them to keep just the bottom of the pots ... like 5cm to 8cm from the bottom should be perfect.. you gonna put your plants on these cutten pots... but first you need to make hole in the pots that you cutted like a aeration grid and you want to place your plant on top of these holes... fill up the tray with ball clay and clear plain water (like this limestone won't be heavy on a long run ) after you can place them everything in the tray this actually works very good but its pretty long and annoying to do ! But it works for sure

@bigbubsofcheese, I haven't been using tap water, but I'll keep an eye on it. I looked up some of your YouTube videos. Thanks for the advice!
