Hello, Everyone! We just completed Week 3 of our outdoor grow in Fox Farm Happy Frog soil and would appreciate insight into recommended nutrient treatments moving forward, as well as additional input on the small brown areas noted in our Week 3 Comments for Plant #3. Thank You!

Hi there, still not to worry much. Your plant seems to be healthy and will grow vigorously in the next few weeks. With your plant age, it's ok to start using Cal-mag or grow nutrient with 1/4th of the normal dosage and increase gradually. Make sure to check pH in/out and ppm in/out for each watering and in soil the less the better to prevent toxicity or lockout.Happy growing... πŸ‘Œ

Hello, we are attempting to determine the gender of our plants at a very early stage. If anyone with expertise would like to comment on the possible gender based upon the shapes shown in the microscopic pictures, we would appreciate the input. Thank You

I'm going with female. But keep an eye out for pistols to be sure. Usually more stem on the males. But my dry buds have same thing when pulling them apart

Just keep looking for pistol hair. It is still the easiest way to check your plants gender πŸ™‚

Hello, All, First grow so we're looking for clarification if this plant is flowering, or if these are pollen sacs. Thank You

Yes those are certainly male pollen sacs. If you have females nearby you need to exterminate them ASAP or risk pollination when they begin to naturally open and release the pollen into the air which will pollinate female plants in the general vicinity. Won’t be the end of the world but it will give you seeds in your female buds and shift resources to create seeds rather than bud.

Noticing these brown spots on the leaves are getting worse. We started Fox Farm Tiger Bloom about two weeks ago and my thought would have been that would have helped. Would appreciate any insight into possible cause and level of concern. It’s flowering really well. Thanks!

Hi Mate, IMO there's no particular issues and considering the flowering stage you are in the safe side. Bottom canopy and related leaves Show signs of senescence, some bites, some drop burns and little scratches. In the upper canopy leaves are curled down and are darkngreen tone that suggest a (mild) nutes overdose. This is the reason so the oldest leaves are not very yellowed. Keep it up U are near the finish.
