Summer 2021 Chicagoland Outdoor Grow

Very pleased with how these 3 are progressing. For the past 10 days, our area has received multiple torrential storms per day with a total of 10.5 inches of rain. This necessitated us bringing in the plants to protect against the very heavy rain, strong winds, etc. The potted plants were placed in a garage with a fan most nights and as necessary for the storms throughout the day. They don't seem to be showing any severe signs of stress from this relatively frequent change in environment. The soil may look a bit dry in the pictures, though that is only the very top layer and we are ensuring the appropriate amount of moisture is present. Plant #3 has developed some very small brown spots which by my own research, would appear most closely to a calcium deficiency, though I'm not certain if I believe it is truly an issue at this point and attribute them to more of the frequent change in environment from the storms. We are using Fox Farm Happy Frog Soil and our strategy was to use the nutrients therein alone until it's necessary to add more. We would certainly welcome input on adding nutrients at this point.
