Off to a great start this week, she’s looking happy as can be.
Completed her second week very strong. No signs of deficiencies or stress. Already starting to branch out a bit while growing steadily. Only have been feeding her half a liter of nutes. Next feed will be with a full liter and progressively increasing by half a liter per feed until 2 liters.
Good start to week 3, fed her 1 L of full strength and she seemed to really like that. Next feed will be 1.5 L. Some preflowers are already starting to show which I’m not too fond about but I still have hope that she’ll be a monster.
I had to make an emergency trip so this lady is being cared for by a good friend until I get back. Topped her above the 5th node. So far she responded well to the topping. Ingesting 2 L of nutes every 2-3 days
She’s still being babysat by a friend and so far she’s growing strong. Have a good stretch so the light was moved up a bit as well, also implemented some LST. Can’t wait to see her again.
I’m back so she’s no longer being babysat by my friend. My friend did a good job in general, a little ph fluctuation issues but overall she looks strong and happy to flower. Adding some big bud powder this week to give her an extra boost
She’s looking strong this week. I can tell her buds are starting to fatten and she looks like she’ll be taking her time to finish. Also stoked about the new beans!
I can tell she’s going to take at least 70 days until harvest, maybe more. She’s growing strong and has moved past the brief pH issue she had a few weeks back. She’s starting to fatten up which I’m thankful for because I was just about out of vertical space to offer her. I still haven’t been able to really pinpoint her exact smell although it smells similar to other Mephisto strains. Drinking 2L of water every 2 days, I might increase to 2.5-3 L to get a little more runoff.
She just keeps getting chunkier. Growing steadily and without issues. This is the last week I’ll feed her big bud, then move onto begin flushing at around day 63. My only concern about this grow is the humidity being a tad high and AVT being so big she’s blocking the light to the babies in the corners. So far she smells like pine/tabaco/funk.
She’s giving off a potent sweet tart smell, it’s quite delicious. I need her to finish up soon though! I flushed her with 4 L of 50% strength nutes, next flush will be with 6 L of 25% nutes until harvest. I don’t believe in flushing with only water in these “hydro” grows. Also, the period in darkness before harvest just doesn’t have any real scientific evidence, so I omit this as well.
Day 70- still not ready for cut but I may just force it on day 73. I need to make room for the next grow and she just towers over them. Either way it’ll be good bud and decent yield.
How quickly can trichomes go from cloudy to amber? Still have at least 40% white pistils. I was hoping to harvest in the next few days, I need to harvest soon to make room for the next perpetual grow.
Probably another week or two, but bear in mind some strains don't go very amber when ready and most, if not all, will keep producing new trichomes until the bitter end - try waiting until pistils 80% browned or so or get a jewellers loupe - when it is all milky milky get it cut cause it's at peak THC levels
This is my best auto flower grow so far. I’m kinda bummed I didn’t let her finish completely, I think she had about another week and a half left. She was just getting too big and barely any light was penetrating the other ladies I had vegging. She still gave me a great harvest and nice looking flowers.
