I can tell she’s going to take at least 70 days until harvest, maybe more. She’s growing strong and has moved past the brief pH issue she had a few weeks back. She’s starting to fatten up which I’m thankful for because I was just about out of vertical space to offer her. I still haven’t been able to really pinpoint her exact smell although it smells similar to other Mephisto strains. Drinking 2L of water every 2 days, I might increase to 2.5-3 L to get a little more runoff.
How quickly can trichomes go from cloudy to amber? Still have at least 40% white pistils. I was hoping to harvest in the next few days, I need to harvest soon to make room for the next perpetual grow.
Probably another week or two, but bear in mind some strains don't go very amber when ready and most, if not all, will keep producing new trichomes until the bitter end - try waiting until pistils 80% browned or so or get a jewellers loupe - when it is all milky milky get it cut cause it's at peak THC levels
@budshaman, yes I did top. Tbh I didn’t see growth slow down much at all. After I topped, her side branches just grew more to catch up and then her two main colas still stretched out. I think as long as they have good conditions and aren’t topped before they’re at least a little mature in the veg stage all would be fine
