Relying mostly on the rain water from recent thunderstorms, watering the garden liberally with a hose on the days it’s not raining. Low stress training the two big girls to grow sideways, Fim’d the (GG?) topped the AK, Topped the AT. Lst’d AK and GG?. Very hot and humid. Battling what I believe to be caterpillars and mites. Praying mantis Egg on the way. Used insecticide 3 times, always 1-2 weeks apart. Haven’t seen caterpillars in awhile but unsure about the potential mites or gnats. We’ll see. Keeping the grow as natural as possible.
Any tips on dealing with insects in an outdoor bed grow? Invasive caterpillars are a problem in my area, could also be mites or gnats involved. I have praying mantis eggs on the way, and have used insecticide 3 times, conservatively. Any ideas are much appreciated, thanks!
If u can prepare compost tea and use this like a foliage spray
Into soil sprinkle some diatomaceous earth this gonna kill all motherfuckers
U could use as well yellow sticky traps
And kitchen salt around pots is gonna kill slugs
