Just giving plain water for now. About a pint every three days. Older plants are darkish green with leaves slightly curled. Any comments for a first timer?

Shirl & Clair get just water, 32 oz. each every third day. Meg and Linda started on light nute solution, 1.75 qt. each every third. Looks like some bushy ones. Trying to tuck big upper fan leaves to expose lower portions. I'm running a small humidifier to help with RH.

Increased the nute concentration a little this week. Linda is growing faster than others so height of light is kept at 3" above her. Leaving on vacation for two weeks and a trusted buddy will be attending to their needs. Hoping things go OK.

Thought there may have been some slight nute burn over week five. The last two waterings were with just plain water.

Back to full strength nutes this week. Lots of bud sites. The plant transferred outdoors seems to like it.

Third week of plain water. Drainage from each plant is staying consistent. Harvest Day 84?

Buds are in the curing process. I gave the strain review based on the grow, not on the final result. I'll post the taste and stone review in a couple of weeks. Had a lot of fun growing this lot. Thanks for all the encouragement from fellow growers.

Grow Questions

Inigo_Montoyastarted grow question 7y
My question is will there be pollen remaining in the grow room after a self pollenating auto is removed. Will it effect the next grow?

Stickanswered grow question 7y
Hi @Inigo_Montoya! Well, pollen is like dust, it's able to fly everywhere, hide in discreet places, and move in the air. In your scenario, I would triple-clean the grow room, using a vacuum-cleaner then white vinegar then soap mixed with neem oil. The vacuum-cleaner will help to get rid of the pollen left in the room, the vinegar will sterilize your environment and kill every living bacterias, and the soap+neem oil solution will help to prevent bugs from invading your garden for a while. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Lovely start, looking good! If they curl anymore then they'll be an issue but they look ok. Great job! (She may need a little more water or she may be too hot.)

Very nice flowers! Curing some now but not nearly as bulky as yours. Makes me wanna pop another few seeds. Love it!

@JARchives, Same here. Spoiled on high grade Colorado bud for the last few weeks so it may not have been a fair contest. Best

@1013higgins, one girl was damn near no smell until being hung a couple days. All became butta so never smoked that. First to chop had a very strong cream soda type aroma with fairly dense structure. Smelled better on plant until 5-6 days in jar. Became sweet. High was about the same but with Moon Rocks in the house everything was skewed.

@JARchives, Hoping for the best. Buds were not really pungent going into cure jars. First dried, not cured, buds smoked smooth with an earthy aftertaste. Creeper head rush was nice but not overpowering. Third day in cure jars. How does this compare to your buds? Thanks.

@Stealthgardner, Thanks a bunch. I couldn't of grown a chia pet before I started this grow. Great information here at Grow Diaries and other sites like Grow Weed Easy and Autoflowering Cannabis held my hand. Caught the bug though, I just ordered the next (second) grow seeds.

What are your container size and what are you using for light?
Inigo_Montoya
Inigo_Montoyacommented7y
@Stealthgardner, Eight bulb, four foot t5's, four veg. and four bloom, 24/7. Drilled holes in the bottom and sides of a 2-1/2 gal. plastic wastebasket from the Dollar store. Medium was potting soil with 30% perlite mixed in.
