Vegatative seedling planted in the basket, sproutpad put into the hydroballs.
The water splashes upon the bottom
Of the basket, lets wait for the roots to come through.
To achieve the perfect EC I use 1/4 zero water and 3/4 tab water
For the balancing of the PH I have put 1 ML in at a time and let it rest for a few hours.
After 24 hours the PH was 6.3 which was a tiny bit too high.
This morning added 0.5 ML on 20 liter water and it was reduced to 5.85.
Lets see if it stays stable.
Sadly enough my timelapse was crashed, so no timelapse for this weeks update.
The plant has grown quite a bit and is Topped for the first time(I’ll top it a few more times to make it as bushy as possible for the scrog)
The roots are resting in the water and look healthy.
Small update 21st July:
Had to refresh the water due to some small deficiencies showing on the leafs.
New water is added with PH of 5.74 and EC 1.28
On wednesday 21/07 the deficiency got pretty bad and did a quick water change.
In the timelapse it’s very visible that the plant collapsed.
The plant is now recovering but will be fine evantually.
I’ll let it grow for this week and then do another round of Topping
On tuesday I did a second round of topping.
8 healthy branches are starting to form.
Did a full water replacement on day 7 since the last change to avoid deficiencies.
On friday I replaced the growtent with a new G-Tools 0.35M2 closet.
I like the serene look that it creates.
This week no timelapse, had a few complications with recording and with the plant itself
On monday evening refilled the water in the tank but probably miscounted the amount due to being tired from the gym.
On tuesday I noticed the leaves were a bit droopy so I decided to wait 1 day.
On wednessday it did not improved so I changed the nutrient water with plain water with a PH of 6.0 to flush out the nutrient lockout.
24 Hours later the plant was reaching for the sun so I’ve changed the plain water with newly made nutrient water.
To make sure the roots get more oxygen I filled the reservoir with 10 liters instead of 20.
Also did some defoliation on the leaves that were showing deficiencies
And build a scrognet of some
Bamboo and washing line I had laying around.
Has been 3 weeks since my last post due to holiday.
The wedding cake was a bit delayed in grow because my PH meter was broken so I was assuming my PH was correct while in actuality it was too low.
The scrog net is covered for about 60%
wanted to play it safe because I’m not sure how much it will stretch.
The clock has been set on 12/12 yesterday.
Expect to see some flower growth in 2 weeks.
Everything is going very well, for an entire week I directed the branches in the scrognet with tucking and rope ties.
Today and yesterday I was not at home to do any tucking so at the end of the timelapse an clear explosion is visible haha.
Im really happy with the spread of the scrog so far.
The bud development is going great, did some light defoliation to reduce the humidity and increase the airflow.
The tips are turning a bit yellow, the light was a bit close due to the recent grow.
Moved the light up a bit.
Too make sure it’s not a nute burn I also decreased the Nutrients solution compared to last week.
Did noticed some nutrient deficiency on monday, decreased the PH from 6.9 to 6.2
Guessing the defiency originated from the High PH.
Also added some Magnesium to be safe
The buds are forming nicely and are full with christals.
Refreshed the water last weekend and added some Canna Calcium.
The deficiency seems to be under control, buds keep growing.
However the tips are brown probably caused my nutrient burn.
I’ll flush the plants on friday with plain tab water and some PH-.
Leaves are turning yellow and only a few more days left for harvesting.
Trichomes are starting to get more milky.
Friday I’ll start flushing for 48 hours with tab water PH6
