Mr_Ozaur I sowed the feminized and Honey Peach seeds outside, in a seedling tray for vegetables. In a small homemade heated greenhouse. Tough love, girls! The Black Jack and Skywalker are for later. Sorry, no photos from the start.

Mr_Ozaur The weather is really terrible! About 30-40 mm of rain per week!! Fortunately, there are some sunny spells. The Delicious Candy are doing well, but the Lemon are just sitting there. The Kiss is quietly taking over its substrate, planting in the ground is coming soon. I harvested the Honey Peach and planted the Black Jack and the Skywalker.

Mr_Ozaur My little beauties... hihihi 😅 Almost 1 meter in diameter for the prettiest one By the way, I'm using a text pot for 2 of them and a white plastic pot for the other two I'm training them with strings, bamboo, and plastic-coated wire For one of the Delicious, I bent the trunk at a right angle (white pot) and I'm removing one branch on every level, for the other one the same without breaking the trunk For the lemons, I just bent one, the other (the one that took a hit) I tried FIM by removing everything underneath

Mr_Ozaur I'm continuing the training. A two-day break is coming up, so I decided to do a light foliar spray. I checked the pH properly this time! And I planted the little sister, I named her Black Jack auto from Sweet Seeds. Normally, I should soon have a second Black as well as a Skywalker Haze from Dutch Passion. Alright, kisses, see you next week :)

Do you think I should start removing leaves from the Delicious Candy?

Organomananswered grow question 5y ago
Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth. There is no need to remove healthy green leaves, if your plant did not need them, it would not have grown them in the first place! Your plant will grow its biggest and fastest with all of its leaves left in place to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and fastest. Or, to put it another way - Less leaves = less energy = less growth. Some light, well considered "lollipopping" now and another quick tidy up at the beginning of flowering will negate the small inner buds growing, which are a real pain to clip and it won't take very much away from the over all yield. Try to only remove yellow leaves, for once they are yellow, they have served their purpose. Hope his helps, Organoman.

Mr_Ozaur I changed the training for the lemon OG, she wasn't too happy. It's doing her good! However, the slugs like her a bit too much. The Kiss in the ground is a bit pale. We'll see next week. Delicious Candy, nothing to say. I might cut the main tops to make it bushy with big colas. For the BJack, the cut bottle open on top, I'll remember that! It protects from the wind and snails 🐌

For the Delicious Candy, I was thinking of cutting the apex of the main stems to stop the growth in width and form a big, bushy ball. Good or bad idea?

If you are going to top your plant you should do it when the plant is very young. Your plant is too old to be topping it now. You should let it flower now sans intervention.

Auxin and cytokinin are two plant hormones that work together to boost root and branch development. The apical shoots produce auxin, which is then delivered to the roots via an intracellular pathway to boost root development. Meanwhile, the roots produce cytokinin, which travels back up to the shoots via the same intracellular pathway, where it promotes branch development and leaf growth. That means, if you cut off the apical shoots, the roots will produce more cytokinin, which will make the Plant Bushier.

Mr_Ozaur This week, I redid the training for the two Delicious and the first Lemon. It really lets the sun in the plant, I'll post before and after photos. To achieve this result, I plant bamboo sticks in the pot that I tie with strings attached under the pot. Then I stretch the strings between the bamboo. You'll see in the photos! Finally, the sun is back! It hasn't rained for a week!! I'm going to have to keep an eye on the watering, but it's nice just before flowering. The feminized one in the ground is stagnating, not really growing. It's quite pale. The autoflower in the ground is growing well, but it doesn't have a nice color either. The flowering of the Delicious should start in about 10 days, late July - early August.

Mr_Ozaur Sun, rain, sun, rain... not so bad. I'm putting just a tiny bit of flo fertilizer for the DC but not for the lemons. They will soon start to flower while the lemons should trigger at the end of August. I bought the Bud Pack from top crop to try to get huge flowers! The Kiss and the Black Jack auto are vegging... meh. I don't think the auto will yield anything. I'll keep growing them in pots.

Mr_Ozaur The biggest delicious candy is starting to flower! Soon the harvest, in 4-5 weeks. I hope for beautiful buds. The lemon Og candy still has a month to bulk up, so I pinched them. Maybe another one in a week or two? Kiss and Black Jack... meh. The Honey peach is curing, it smells good!!

Mr_Ozaur Wowww! I need to keep paying attention to the feeding and watering because they're starting to get hungry and thirsty! The Lemon OG Candy are looking really beautiful. When it comes to nutrients, I'm trying to follow the Top Crop chart by using the minimum doses.

Mr_Ozaur To train the LOC, last week I just tied it to the bottom pallet. But it's still a bit time-consuming to do... So I made a kind of frame by screwing pieces of wood to the corners of the pallet, and I stretched some strings, with the branches going underneath. A bit like the DC Erly right next to it.

Mr_Ozaur In reality, I don't use the same mix for LOC or for DC Erly. The dosages I'm sharing are for the DC. The LOC gets more growth nutrients and doesn't have the top bud (PK 13 14) yet. Feel free to let me know in the comments what you think of my grow!

Mr_Ozaur It's been a week since I last saw them, and I haven't fed them either. Anyway, I'm going to cut the DC soon, and I'm going to stop watering in a little while. I'll be able to focus on the nutrition of the LOC, and I won't hesitate! They need to swell up!

Happy Harvest Day!

Mr_Ozaur So, the 2 plants are not ripe at the same time. About 10 days apart. Maybe because of the sunlight. Some sensitivity to mold, which appeared more in certain buds. Too bad. In the end, it didn't impact the harvest too much, but I was still worried! The promise of early maturity and quality is kept! By the end of September, I can almost start smoking it. Overall, I'm happy. I think I have between 350 and 400 grams in total from the two plants.

Mr_Ozaur It's getting more and more chaotic, since I've started classes again, I don't have much time to ensure the proper feeding and watering of these beautiful little ones... luckily my girlfriend is keeping an eye on them a bit! The photos are a bit mixed up, but we can still see the progress. Harvest is coming soon, I hope in 2 weeks!
