Malawi

Day 2 so I guess 7 out of 8 seeds working isn’t bad. So all that have pop are doing well, and got a sip of water tonight. Also started a new seed for Sour Diesel and hopefully she will be successful this time. Also some have stretched a little too much and will probably add some extra soil in eventually to help brace them.

Day 10 and everyone is looking happy happy happy. With some of my stems stretching a bit much, but better now. I went ahead and pretty much added a scoop of soil to everyone to help them out, and a sip of water as well tonight. Hopefully tomorrow or the next my sisters tent will be cleaned. Going to order an exhaust system for her tent, which might help stop another infestation she got with some of my outdoor clones.

Day 16 and I have started LST training on all but Sour Diesel being a week or more behind everyone else. I also bought a 6” exhaust system from SpiderFarmer for my sisters tent I keep mentioning taking over. Also bought some MARPHYL Organic Liquid Soil Enhancer with All Natural Marine Phytoplankton off Amazon and added roughly 1ml per gallon for today’s watering. Didn’t add to my chart cause it ain’t listed and I’m stoned

Day 23 well I finally fucking did it folks. I have cleaned out the 2nd tent, exhaust installed and both Malawi and Lennon have moved over. Didn’t happen until a few hours after today’s picks were taken, but it’s been done. Also setup 2 SCROG nets in there for they when stretch and the 2nd to support hopefully huge colas later. Plus I watered everyone again with just a hint of the same fish/seaweed mix as last week. Only using a small bit and only using it once a week. Plus with the move they now sit under my old HLG 600W QB

Day 31 and all is looking good in tent one, but I think I’m gonna top everyone tomorrow with my day off. Still giving them a sip of the seaweed/fish shit formula once a week with their waterings but will start introducing Mega Crop I think soon. I noticed (I think) some spotting on my Malawi, but will give them a better viewing tomorrow. Hoping it is more of an issue with my watering and just bleaching from water/lights. If something bad is the cause I shall let yea know.

Day 37 so I’m hoping my plants will stretch some bit now, because I want to fill that SCROG net baby. Malawi is looking a slight bit better after giving her a little epsom salt late Saturday night, and everyone got just a simple watering. My humidity is really weak in my 2 plant tent of Lennon and Malawi, and so I turned off the exhaust, fed water and left a few drips around the plants. I’m hoping that RH% take a nice jump upwards because they seem a bit dry and sad. Let’s hope tomorrow’s picks show a happier livelier looking plants in there.

Day 45 well it’s watering day for sure on everyone. Kinda upping the amount of water for everyone too, and see if my growth will pick up a bit. Tomorrow I don’t expect too much change in them, but the day after I tend to see the biggest change in them. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong with tomorrow’s pick, but I have started to add some Cal/Mag with the MegaCrop. Plus it was hinted to add some PK booster for Malawi and have also done that. Leaf health was looking so-so on Malawi but the added nutrients seems to be making her happy once again

Day 50 my tents are filling out nicely. My exhaust seems to work too well in the Malawi/Lennon tents, as on the 1 setting it brings the tent down the RH to 31%. So I turned off the exhaust and gave everyone a good watering tonight with cal/mag and some of my unlisted seaweed/fish shit liquid fertilizer. So I’m hoping to see much happier looking plants with tomorrow’s updated pics.

Day 57 and I have decided to play a little safe than sorry and flip Malawi and Lennon tent over to flowering mode. I gotta figure out how to cool this tent down as it gets up to the low 90’s and my light hasn’t even been on the highest setting. My exhaust works too well in removing the humidity and so it’s been off most of the veg period to keep it up, but temps also up. The other tent will go into flowering mode next week, as I wanna lollipop everyone beforehand. At least the tent should be filled out but will be a big pain in the ass to water

Day 66 and the flowering stretch is on. Watering has been upped to 1G each plant per watering with nutrients. I also brought my Lennon/Malawi tent to 11/13 light cycle to help speed up their flowering time, but I think has also helped my plants stretch at the same time. Each day the Malawi seems to stretch an inch of 2 after every watering, if not more. Running out of netting to tuck Malawi under and I guess I will just let them grow upwards and wait to use the 2nd netting when we get there. I’m going to have 2 very full looking tents in just a few weeks, and I can’t wait

Day 72 and my one dreaded fear has shown up MITES! I noticed spots on my clones I was attempting of my Crystal METH, but I was seeing the little bastards under the leaves. . . . and on top too. My sister had a few of them big yellow sticky bug traps and so I borrowed 3. One right in with CM, one by Cream Caramel and one between my SD and CC plants but near the top of the canopy. Clones have been yanked out, one tent watered yesterday and main tent watered today. The growth of the tent though was too hard not to share with everyone today, and share another group photo is they change even more. Other tent I’m really seeing my Lennon plant stretch and is almost at the 2nd netting with some limbs. Malawi is a little slower in growth past couple days but still growing nicely, and might have 4 more weeks of that. Either way I’m overall in love with my 2 tents progression so soon into flowering

Day 80 ok my tent just keeps exploding in growth everyday and they are nearing my lights and they’re already at the tippy top. So it’s not mites I have but thrips on my Crystal Meth and Mk x Bubble plants. So out came my old friend diatomaceous earth and made it snow in the tent. So expect some snowy pics for a bit but hopefully this will cure me of my problems. Other tent is just coming along nicely too, with Lennon really taking off. I have bent some limbs over because they too were nearing my lights that, like my other tent, are at the tippy top already. So watering with nutrients today and again in 2 days and so on and so on

Day 88 and wow is the best way to describe opening the tent everyday. I haven’t noticed the thrips on my Crystal METH plant. Been keeping my basement dehumidifier off and allows me to stretch their watering an extra day. I think on might try to do a defoliation, if I can reach them. Sour Diesel is just HUGE and will up my MarsHydro a little higher to try and get some light on the tops past my lights. Causing some taco like leaves near the top there and will see if I can pull back the limbs a bit from the lights themselves. I now tend to think my Cream Caramel seeds that Sweet Seeds sent me are of the fast version with the progress she is keeping up with her 2 sister fast version plants. Lennon is getting big and lots of bud sites to see, and same with Malawi but I was expecting that with her

Day 106 Ok so I apologize for not updating at all last week. I just sort of hit a wall and just needed a break from my daily updates. Plus almost all my girls are down outside and took a good chunk of my time, and work. Anyways they are getter no chunky and sadly looks like it also made my Cream Caramel plant to collapse under its own weight. That happen last week and still trying to get them upright. Little health issue with my Sour D and it’s leaves but some appears to be courtesy of the them being so tall and being bleached by my light. Can’t reach in or brush my skin against anything without being sticky afterwards. Tent 2 has Lennon really packing on the weight and Malawi is spitting out new hairs but frosting up nicely too. So again sorry for being away but I should hopefully be back to my regular updates again
