Summer '21 by RQS

As I'm coming to the end of first week, I'm so hyped to see my girls growing. This is one of the reasons I wake up happy in the morning. I also mentioned this in the question section but my biggest nightmare is underwatering my plants while I'm trying to avoid overwatering. Now I'm watering 50-60 ml per day per plant and slowly will adopt to watering every 2-3 days. They are in 2L pots now and I'm not watering to runoff for now. Thank you and happy growing everyone!

Day 13 : Alg-a-mic applied as a foliar spray. Day 14 : Cal-mag introduced to Royal G with the ppm raised from 50 (soft water) to 200 , next watering Lemon will also get some cal-mag. Royal G has shown very nice growth this week. Looks like it's gonna be short and bushy. I was expecting a spike from Lemon but she didn't stretch or grow as much last 2 days. Next watering, I will start applying grow nutes. Unfortunately, I can't do anything with the temps. Goes up to 90F. Humidity isn't that bad as I'm still in veg. Royal G gets 100ml water every 2 days, Lemon 100ml every 3 days. They are 8cm tall and lamp distance about 50cm (20 inch) now.

Unfortunately, girls are not looking good although the leaves look normal. Lemon Haze showed just a little growth this week. I added some grow nutes (400-500ppm) my last watering but not much changed, it's still 8cm. Both plants have very short nodes, didn't really stretch at all. I'll transplant into 5Gal pots, pour some mykoriza and see what happens. Temps have been crazy past couple days up to 90F. Maybe this is the reason why their growth has slowed down but I grew in worse conditions and I wouldn't expect a sativa plant to be like this. Good air circulation inside, also intake and exhaust fans are working. Maybe it's just sadly pheno related so fk my life. 3rd week update : Lemon Haze is not really growing. Feeding both girls at 400-600 ppm. Watering every 2 days, no overwatering issues. Temps are down to 80-85F. RH around 60. Still haven't transplanted.. If it doesn't grow this week with cooler temps, I will probably dump it to create space for alternative one. That's very sad though..

DAY 22 Both girls transplanted with mychorizae, watered 500ml with grow nutrients at 400-600ppm. I think transplanting helped Lemon because the root structure wasn't good and after transplanting it showed some growth. Temps have been cooler, around 80F, keeping the RH around 70 as suggested by VPD chart. I'll start using B52 next watering. Also, applying cal-mag every other watering in small amounts. Day 26 Both plants topped. Hot temps are back. I thought transplanting was gonna help but no luck, growth is so slow. I gave them half a liter of water during transplant and they are still not dry despite 87-88F (30C) it has been 5 days so if 500ml of water doesn't dry in 5 days under 88F I don't know what and in this case, I don't know how to feed at this point. Day 28 Last week of the day, girls still haven't dried out so I'm not watering to be on the safe side, thus I couldn't give any nutes this week. Still growing slowly but it makes me happy to see new shoots reaching for the light. Seedlings are doing fine. I decided to keep them in veg for 8 weeks.

Day 31 I don't know how it's possible but it's been 10 days since last watering. Soil still feels a bit moist and both plants are growing very slowly. I decided to call the small plant "miniature haze" . Other one is so bushy and it takes forever for the shoots to reach the light. I cut off the first set of leaves. You can see how small they are just by looking at their stems I'm dealing with 88-91 F temps and humidity around 60.
