@spyder,dim it down at around 30-40 % first week,then start adding more power,i just throwed away my p1000 replacement manual where you could find hanging heights and all that,one thing i love about the P series is the fact that they have more diodes on it ,basicaly if you have more diodes ,you get better spread and can hang the light closer to the plants,very very good that way ! and i find them better then the XS series which i have a xs2000 and a xs1000 (which is about to die because driver makes weird noises and it overheats)
