In my experience, some plants just do this for no reason and it does not seem to be a problem of any sort.
If your plant is growing fine, I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
People have come up with all sorts of theories of why it occurs, but I don't know if any of them are particularly accurate.
All the plants that I have grown which displayed this trait have all grown normally and without any deficiencies regarding yield or potency.
I often think it is a case of "much to-do about nothing". Hoo-ha, hogwash, piffle.
I always trust my plant "knows" what it is up to.
