Ferinky Hello! I germinated the seed a few weeks ago, applied the apical cut, and used wires for LST. The plant has grown with good vigor from the start in a 3L pot. A few days ago, I transplanted it to a 30L pot with a homemade supersoil. For the supersoil, I used my own mix composed of: Peat Worm humus Coco Perlite Vermiculite Horse, goat, and sheep manure Homemade compost Expanded clay for drainage To which I added the following organic fertilizers: Blood meal Bone meal Fish meal Rock meal Dolomite Epsom salts Bat guano Seaweed extracts Neem meal I let the mix sit for 8 weeks moist in the final pot so it would be ready to use on transplant day. Ferinky It's growing at a good pace while I tighten the wires and prune it. I'm alternating the waterings, one with just tap water and the other I add Cannazym. So far, after more than two months of life, I haven't added any nutrients; with the initial mix of supersoil, it seems to have everything it needs.

Ferinky I couldn't update on week 11, but here we have its current state, it's starting to stretch to prepare for the pre-flowers. Last week I adjusted the LST wires and did the last defoliation trimming.

Ferinky These are the days when the transition to flowering really starts to show. I'm fertilizing for the first time with solid seaweed extract (Ascophyllum Nodosum) at a rate of 0.5g/L, alternating with watering with just water and another watering with Cannazym.

Ferinky In this update, I'm including 2 weeks since I couldn't add the previous week due to work. On August 15th, it received the second spraying of Bacillus Thuringiensis to prevent caterpillar attacks. I'm still alternating watering with plain water one day and watering with Ascophyllum Nodosum the next day. I've stopped watering with Cannazym.

Ferinky This week it has started to show its flowers and it seems that the stretching is coming to an end. I continue to alternate waterings of just water with one of water with 100% organic bio-stimulant Ascophyllum Nodosum: Alginate acid 16% Mannitol 4% Nitrogen 2.5% Soluble Potassium oxide 18.5% It will also receive its third spraying of Bacillus Thuringiensis to defend it from caterpillars.

Ferinky This week it got its first summer storm, but it handled it without any issues thanks to the branches being tied down with LST wire. I took the opportunity to do a light defoliation and clean off the dead leaves. I've watered once with Ascophillum, another time with Cannazym, and the rest just water; it's been drinking about 3-4 liters every day for 40 days.

Ferinky Final stretch of flowering, the buds keep fattening, the leaves are yellowing, and the smell is getting more intense. This week I'm including a general photo from all angles. According to the seed bank, the harvest should be ready by mid-September, although by its appearance, I would say it will take another month.

Ferinky This week it received a watering of Ascophyllum at the beginning of the week and the rest were water waterings. The buds are still forming but they already give off a clear Haze smell.

Ferinky The buds are getting huge, the flowers are hard and heavy, and there's a strong smell of lemon and haze. It looks like there's still about 10 days left until the harvest.

Ferinky Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out my diary. It's my first time growing Kryptonite from Pyramid Seeds; I was looking for a sativa variety with Haze flavor and cerebral effect. The plant grew without any problems except for some deficiencies typical of the end of flowering. Since it was a 100% organic grow and I only used tap water for irrigation without adding liquid fertilizers, it was expected, and the final result leaves me very satisfied. Additionally, the fact that I added all the nutrients to the substrate made the watering task easier and I didn't have to perform a root wash. The plant developed in a 30L pot and produced 160g of dry, fluffy, dense buds with a decent flower-to-leaf ratio. The smell of the wet flowers was very pronounced with Haze and lemon. Regarding pests and diseases, it has been very resistant; I haven't noticed signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips thanks to the addition of Neem cake in the substrate. I also didn't suffer the dreaded and usual caterpillar attack (neither the leaf caterpillar nor the bud caterpillar) thanks to the sprays at key times with Bacillus Thuringiensis. It was also not affected by powdery mildew, which usually appears at the end of flowering in my area, nor by botrytis, so the Mycorrhizae and Trichoderma tablet worked perfectly, not only reinforcing the root system but also against invasive fungi. The climate has also been favorable this year; I live in a warm area where the temperature is usually optimal for outdoor cannabis cultivation. In May, it rained pleasantly on a few days, while June, July, and August were particularly dry, with only a couple of nights of rain at the end of August, and September has also been very respectful, raining only twice. For all these reasons, being my first time making a supersoil, I'm sure that for the 2022 season, I will repeat the system, making some adjustments to the mix to avoid the deficiencies I've mentioned. In week 6, I explain the mix I used to make the supersoil.
